Both outspoken
He speaks all about
She spells about all

Silky smiles, spicy speeches,
Savvy slogans, grabbing gab,
Tasty talk, touchy tongue,
Tempting templates, trumpets,
Dramatic discourse, pulpit promises,
Built castles in the air,
Voted the Seeker to power,
Tossed him onto ivory tower.

Erstwhile speaker-seeker, vested,
With powers to make, unmake,
Car, care, caravan and carnival,
Moved the man to magnificent mood;
The kingly way to minister and administer.

His days passed, surpassed,
His might went unsurpassed,
Poor, the soft core of his card,
Far from sight feeling so hard.

Fence began to pounce on the crop,
As hapless cursed their source of hope,
Arrogance spiced up the powers-that-be,
On a cool swing in paradise of power-so-be,  
Powers-that-be are the powers not to be.

Hold my hand, hold my hand,
Called her father to his baby,
“Here is the narrow bridge to cross,
Slip and fall you may, my lass!”

No dad, no dad, hold my hand,
Sure, you will not let me skid,
Safer I do feel in your fold,
Than you in my tiny hand.

Hold the weaker and meeker,
Their bond of trust is stronger,
Than the strength of your grip,
So is the essence of relationship

A pair of eyes to see
Of ears to hear
Of hands to work
Of legs to stand
Makes life smart

A face to cheer up
A heart to pair up
A mind to pep up
A love to step up
Make living an art

Last you met me was
when I hit you last

I am a poor poet
in search of rich thoughts

My first flight was a fancy funny dream cream delight,
Of crafty wings swinging in thriftyjwinds of daylight,
Propelled by pilots cocooned in the cozy cockpit,
For a grand take off, of the roaring and rising craft.

I was spotted and seated by a dainty bounty beauty,
Beckoning me to buckle up for reckoning safety,
With slippery smiles from her clipping rosy lips,
After brisk demo for self -help on risk rescue tips.

Skiing wings nosed up plush and puffy heights,
And up and up I went and gazed through vent,
As basking clouds shone in tender light and heat,
Flight floated on velvet carpet glowing silver white.

The sailing swan in sky moved in majestic style,
Eased and caused nagging nap of lull and pull,
Her long and lavish belly hosting high fly guests,
Rays and rain gifted a colorful bow to the far west.

The queen in quest lensed on landing scene of the city,
Focused on the crown of castles of unseen beauty,
Trespassed vibrant greenery and scenery, hills and hillocks,
Rivers and rivulets, flora and fauna in all mix and make,

The mettle of men and machine did its marvel in travel,
As the veiled wheels unveiled and wielded to safe land,
The metal bird grounded on a grand ground around,
And rejoiced rousing reception of the curious crowd.

Muscle up your mind
To keep up to a task  
Mind your muscle
To keep out of tussle

I am,
I was & will be 
In tense
Without you

Overcast canvas wide within the visible range,
Down the canopy of crowded clouds in rage,
Nature sprayed its petals and pellets of snow,
From the ethereal sky in a cool blend of harmony,
Oh behold!  the scenic splendor of its sway in its way.

As the day opened up and glittered silver ground,
Dauntless daunting flora and fauna lie dry and high,
Long await cool each its day to bounce and blossom.
And the studious heads heading on foot,
Armoured with hefty winter wear to capture
The beauty in their hunt to haul the wealth in books,  
In the city of university towering high on hill ridge.

It rained and drained thoughts in me to vent,
Sans a day out on stroll in flowery rain to venture,
As I peeped safe through the window panes,
The bewitching landscape in adamant restraint.

And then I looked and locked my iris open on ice,
As pals and pets plying and playing at length so nice.
Towing transport wade through the salted roads,
No matter how hard the day to drag in heaps of odds.

Evening lights highlight twilight of the day,
In a bid to bid good night for the lovely day,
And welcome the day next for the recurring show
Of ceaseless breath of life amidst flying flakes.

He is on ventilator
I am at the window
He is in hospital
Close to the grave
I am in hostel
Close to the college
I am opening book
He is closing bible
He is breathing out
I am breathing in
His ventilator is shut
My window is opened
He is eighty
I am eighteen
He is diseased
I am besieged
He lost ground
I am gaining ground
He is my grandfather
Who led a grand life
I am his grandson
Left to lead a branded life

See Seesaw Sea,
Swing in ecstasy
Rhythmic tides,
Rhyming strokes
Soothing breeze,
Pleasing nodes
Surfing banks,
Boxing waves
Tiding ebbs,
Ebbing tides
Unabated buzz,
Ferry minds
Merry crowds,
Downing sun
Cooling beach,
Evening dawns
Immolating sun,
Immortal journey

On double shift,
Off side wakeup call,
On side adieu  
Pushed up moon as a parting gift
On alighting night
Good oh the heavens!

Visible to the naked eye
The trim trio in sky, of all
In triangular circle
On endless mission

Imposing Sun,
Impressive Moon,
Well composed Earth,
Fertile nuclear family
  
Round and round on rounds
The duo around the tiara;
The flaming fulcrum,
Feeding heat and light
  
The cute unmanned moon    
The night lamp in the sky
Playing hide and seek
Sheltered by mother earth
  
Earth on its daily rounds
Moon on monthly shuttles
Revolving pair round the Fire
Count their infinite time

Indispensable cycles
Indefatigable circus
Infallible life recycles
Inscrutable obscure force
Who knows?
Only super soul can witness

God is not a visual 
But a visionary
Par excellence

Adolescent pair qualified
For adultery love
She loved to land in his life
So too, he liked her alike
Puberty took liberty
  
Mutual parents liked mutually
To be mutual parents-in-law
Cleared pair’s passport and visa
Stamped each valid thru life
  
Wings of love took off
Wandered in a lonely resort
Love was long and longing
Hours melted in minutes
Days vanished in hours
Years rolled in days
And swallowed love and life
Stamps no more valid

Soul and spirit fled in time
To the empire of love free from pyre
For resting in eternal peace
Heaven enforced its discretion
Stamped out soul  
To the slot it deserved
When, where and how
God only knows!

Solitude is no solution for tranquility 
It makes remedy worse than malady

There is so much
Love in the air
like oxygen

To wrestle and sweat
on the plank of blinking light
in the pirated privacy
to a gasping breath
in the light of darkness

one loses to the other
and win each other
simultaneously
Lest winning alone
is more shameful
than the game itself

Let me pop up my plans
on this blue moon day delight

Your glittering eyes
Fluttered my shuttered heart
Your cherry cheers
shored up my sunken soul

Your melodious voice
Mellowed my bullish ego
Your bouncing beauty
spurred up my dormant passions

Your heart is my home divine
So sure I am for you
Your matchless features
Make me your perfect catch

May I warm up with your charm
And lead a princely life
of my princess choice?
For the blush of wife to be
Be the bliss of life that be

Many got into my plane
I hosted them in my cordial flight
But retained you as copilot

Heaven is what I heard
not what I saw
Love is what I saw
not only what I heard

Bay and beach
Wind and waves
Sun and sand
Tools of play
And pools of pleasure
To herald rock and roll
Held me on one fine funny day

Whipping gripping sun
Running rolling waves
Breezing sprucing spray
Cuddling cradling swing
Seesaw Sea, a scene to see  

An ebony boy for joy
Curled n’ squirreled
And scrubbed shiny sand
Made of wet velvet waves
Basked and bathed
Bathed and basked
And on and on and so on
Bath n’ bask filled his day

Cheerful crowd on a wild boating spree  
Expert loner on his confident bouts
With batting waves for surfing thrill
All and sundry kindred, rid of color or creed  
Joined n’ enjoyed nature’s extravaganza

Tots trotting helter-skelter
Splashing on slippery waves
Jubilant lads fad of hackney ride
Wayward youth awkward way forward
Trespassing bikini lasses passing by

Receding light inked in crimson red
Dipped glowing globe at the far end of sea
Paving way to the emerging coolant moon
To shower his delightful light for rest of night

Poets are heart specialists 
proving good at operation of love

My heart has only
single room
with a double bed

Maternal love is a guarantee
Paternal love is a warranty

Back home on a tired evening
Wading thru’ weary sea of traffic
Pervading miles of city in panic
I for one was stranded
At many a signal cross
  
As I gazed out leaning glass up my wheel
Sky was growing grey and gloomy
As if worried of descending glow of light
Clouds playing clown overhead in gay delight
Unencumbered birds on a free flying stroll
Rid of roads and blocks and unruly rules
Avenue leaves grew dark green in fading light
Friendly wind patting hope of  post-nap light
  
Awake! A restless horn blew behind
As signal light switched to green
And cleared my nagging way
Bikers left and right darted their way
I was jittery fluttery but none to care  
  
Blurring head light forward glow
Scaring red light backward blow
Jolted me to gear up and down
Steer and peddle my pads in puzzle
To save and grab my homeward track
Oh! I wish I had wings than wheels

Lend me your heart
to blend my soul into yours

May God bless

Please touch me not 
without touching
my heart and soul

I am the king 
of my own making
You are the queen
in quest of my liking

Prayers heard
in divine decibels
are answered 
in human syllables

A small gesture
To take a giant leap
In relationship

You may escape from me
But not from my dreams

High tides on a hideout
Scuffling high and low  
Sought shelter off sea
At a downward cradle resort
In high land island assort
Cuddled in grip n grasp
To enjoy the balm and calm

Back waters beckoned me
To the wedlock o’ bed lock
Of islands’ land n liquid
I peddled my winding way
The beat about the boat afloat
Swayed away fair and far
The wiling willing precincts
Untidy tide untied my ties

Sea saw swing sang a song
Amidst tunes of windy wand
As though to unwind my mind
***** of breeze doused me to brim
Frills and spills lulled into thrill
Oh! What a symphony of scenery
The treat lasted from dawn to dusk
Waves waved off my retreat not to risk

If not I wish you will

Failure is a backward step
Meant for a forward movement

Unfold
Take me 
into your fold
And unfurl 
your manifolds
I am your scaffold

Without you I am nowhere
With you I am everywhere
