AM Nov 2024
Our eyes, they meet,
Once or twice a day, discreet,
Holding a secret just for us to keep.
A fleeting clash where our shadows meet.

A smile exchanged,
Once or twice, the air unchained,
A storm beneath, a pull sustained,
A force unseen, a force unexplained.

How did your body know mine so well,
Before we touched, before we could tell?
How did it burn so fierce, so wild,
A fire unleashed, a fire reconciled?

Under the sheets, where secrets lie,
Your breath on my skin, a whispered sigh,
How did it feel so intense, so right,
As if we were born for this, for the rest of our lives?

How do we fit, like threads that entwine,
Unraveling logic, defying design?
Sweet, sweet obsession, pulling me through,
Your smell lingers on my skin, and I want more of you

Nobody told me that being an adult would be so lonely
AM Aug 2023
They take up all of the air in the room
I cannot breathe.

Sell crack said the president
Fall though cracks residents
Money over morals the precedent
In slums slaves rent the residence
AM Feb 2022
It turns out you are exactly like my father.
I’m overwhelming , and you are overshadowed
Maybe I’m like my mother
AM Jan 2022
You take the plates of those who have nothing to eat
You take the shoes of those who have no feet

You poison the fish of those who have no sea
And exploit the land of those who never had property

You solve insanity like it's a disease
And create a war to bring peace
You take the home of those who never had where to live.

You pick the nails of those who don't have fingers
so they cannot scratch your fears

and you take the eyelashes of those who have no eyes
so you can sleep at night.

I broke too much
of myself
thinking someone
could fix me.

I should have not
turned myself
to pieces
in the first place.

Because no one
would ever keep
a broken mirror
in their pockets.
