How often we dive head first into love only to find it was not so deep / If we are lucky we might end up with only a broken neck and months / of traction to keep us from our obsessions If we are not so lucky our hearts will break I have learned that a broken heart does not heal it remains unfixable and we are destined to live a long broken mistake riddled existence until one spring day a new feeling starts and where once the bloodied broken vessel beat / a new heart pounds with the song of love as we meet
