Writing to discover herself, heal herself, and treat herself better. / / Poetry generates raw emotion and breathes life into a written document that can be saved, shared, and savored. Writing can be an exposing and vulnerable experience, but it bears the incredible ability to bring healing by releasing those words, thoughts, and feelings stored inside. One word can cultivate an emotion, resonate with readers, and shed light to inner realization; imagine the power a poem could do. / / I love poetry because it changes as I change. Sometimes I look back at old poems and feel completely different, the same, indifferent, or sometimes amazed. I think it's important if we amaze ourselves, that's how we can feel *amazing*
