I grew up with divorced parents; My mother, being my best friend, nourished and helped me grow to become who I am today. My father on the other hand, was a drunk and abusive. My mother was poor and my father was rich. I got all the expensive toys growing up, but they were never what I wanted. I could live with just the dirt in the ground and the water in the stream. My mom moved back toArizona, and my father, well for all I care, MIA. You know someone once told me that I was a man because I live on my own and support myself, but I knew I was already a man. I was a man when I became brave enough to accept who I am, and not give a shit about what people think, because I am who I am. That’s my story, it’s not the best, but also, it’s not the worst.
