"Your weak"
"You’re worthless"
"You’re a waste of life"

Do you a favor
and tell yourself
"Shut up"

Mistakes

Though he left her

He broke his own heart
So he came to me for laughter

Laughter to help heal him
But you didn’t understand

He cared so much
But all you could see were his mistakes

And that was a mistake

You haunt me

But I don’t think it’s your fault
It’s because I can’t fathom a life without you

Oh my darling
It’s my fault
Because while I know you’re already gone

I still can’t seem to say goodbye

Learn

In the darkness of the world
We learn what is truly light

In the midst of pain
We learn what isn't suffering

In the journey of death
We learn the meaning of life

In the absence of friends
We learn what true friendship is

Lesson learned
Now...
Move on

Through the darkness of life
I now know of strife

However I take great pride
That I can say

"I broke... but I survived"

Teach me how to become like you
