Have you ever looked at something
for so long that after a while you
start to see every flaw and mistake there is in it
A young teen girl looked at herself in the
mirror too long while doing her hair
in the morning and after a while
of looking at herself all the girl could see was a red, puffy
eyed, tear stained face looking right back at her.

People seem to worry  about
if they have big thighs,
too toothy of a smile, or messy, wild
hair that is impossible to tame.
Others may think that if they have glasses or braces
it classifies them as nerds or geek,
which makes them feel, unloved, unappreciated and
even more self conscious about themselves and everything they do.
People try to change themselves so they
be what others want them to be,
so that they fit in with the right social circle,
by doing this they turn into plastic, like barbie doll,
they do what the leader says and feel that they
can never speak up for what they feel.

People are just taking others insecurities
and using them as a tool to shape
their own perfect friends, or what
they think a perfect friend is,
but they think it is the outside that counts,
but its not its the inside,
yeah everyone might not like the same stuff,
or go for the same team,
and fight every now and then,
but someone you can rely on is someone that doesn't care
if you have a thigh gap, big teeth, crazy hair
or what size you are, if you have a pimple or pimples.
A true friend finds beauty within you not just on
the outside but the inside.
