To be compared to a godess, a golden creature in a shining bodice.

(Is this what girls want?)

to be as fair as aphrodite, grace and beauty and lovers mighty.

(and to be an adulterous back stabber!)

to have athena's dilligence wisdom and intelligence.

(and to be a moody cow who cow who cant take critiscm)

or put hestia to shame, purity kindness a maiden without blame

(a symbol of female submission)

then may your wish come true and have all the blessings of a godess

(most of you already have there curses)

I read Noah brought the animals in;
And with them brought in
All our sins.
But virtues too were marched within,
And ever since we've worn their skins.

The jackal with his wrathful jaws,
Hides behind the jungle laws.

The peacock arrayed in full feathers,
Can hide his pride with his betters.

The snake that droppedĀ from the tree,
Moults rejection with envy.

The toad, the food chain's first to feed,
Like fat cats fill themselves with greed.

The goat devours like the locust,
Feeding on with gluttonous lust.

The smallest snail in silken cloth,
Moves like justice, slow as sloth.

The pig avoids austerity,
While feeding on dignitarities.

Other animals Noah rescued
Saved humanity by their virtue.

The swan disdains adultery
By embracing life-long chastity.

The camel slurping with prudence,
Eludes drought through temperance.

Birds feed their fledgling adeptly
With mouth to mouth charity.

The ****** known to be a nuisance
Will dam your life with dilligence.

The dog whose loyalty is constant
Waits and wags with patience.

A horse that's never riderless
Will run all day with kindliness.

The gentle lamb of allegory
Is Christ-like in humility.

The ark may not be history,
But works explaining humanity
Through eons of mythology.
He didn't really bring them in,
They weren't in danger,
We're in their skins.
The seven deadlies are accepted, but the seven virtues are up for interpretation.

I see your fingers, delicately curved around her neck,
Your face intentingly staring at shadows only you can see.
Whether playing with swords or fists or feelings or words,
I see you were not the one to play with me.

I played myself, lost in loves intruiging realm
But was it love of him?
Maybe. Or love of self

I saw in him what I wished to see in me,
Determination and calm, eloquence through unease.
I saw loving yet firm hands
Unspoken care for the ones he loved.

But I never saw the beauty,
Never the emotion,
Never the secrets or times of fear or devotion.
Never who he truly was...
But rather... who I imagined him to be.

---

I miss you so, but more than that,
Almost selfishly,
I miss then idea of who you were. Who you were to me.
Music, quiet, humor and intelligence
Not to mention, maturity, strength, and dilligence.
You just had to go add poetry.

But that was simply my idea
Of who you were to me.
Not the real person
The man you are, the man you were meant to be.

Night was too tired resting so he slept
He made noon 's lap safe and crept
Noon stroked and patted night' s back
Evening peeped in and admired night's prank
Night had a good sleep
But occasionally rose with evening's beep
Night felt utter loneliness
As moon and stars maintained silence
With dilligence
When the night watchman whistled
Night became alert like thistle
And lay awake making others sleep
