Night was too tired resting so he slept
He made noon 's lap safe and crept
Noon stroked and patted night' s back
Evening peeped in and admired night's prank
Night had a good sleep
But occasionally rose with evening's beep
Night felt utter loneliness
As moon and stars maintained silence
With dilligence
When the night watchman whistled
Night became alert like thistle
And lay awake making others sleep
