I'm done getting faded
My dream's vindicated
Your eyes don't have to waste time on me

My words keep on falling
My mouth hits a wall and
My pupil pin point prevents
Me to see

I just can't stand for this **** again
Walking on water
With weights on weak knees
Without the dope sick
Dream trip
I can feel the breeze
Right beneath my cheeks
Where the wind used to blow
Too high to know
The difference between
Free and
Let be

I'm done getting faded
Fake friends getting wasted
More time to find how I can please
The mind that's been on a grind
To forget memories

she's a ghost, a colorful entity of refracted light. there's no special thing to her, but the curve of her lips and the dip of her back are burned into the brain. she carries shakespeare in her pocket and there's stars on her socks and she sits, curled in the large blue chair watching the television flicker and blur in the dark. she counts her blessings when clear rain hits the roof and makes a wish when the magnolia branch taps her window. in her free time, she sits back in the dark, her laptop light an illumination. the thoughts are too loud, mind jumbled, and she truly wonders if she was real. she blended in, a passive being, now a colorfully pale apparition. her color stained porcelain, now a colorless spirit, draining in the bathtub. no evidence of crimson or indigo or gold, a clean palette. like she believed, she never did exist.

When he's so close,
My heart races.

When he is so far away,
I have separation anxiety..

This is when I know,
That I love him too much,
To let him go..

Guess I'm too attached.

Creep
My birthday is coming up.
I don't want anything
But for you to get better
And so that the surgery succeeds.

I'd sacrifice my life for that to happen.

People tell me that what goes on the internet stays there.
Well then.
I'd like to say one thing.

If I were to unexpectedly die,
At my funeral,
I don't want people to be sad.
I want them to be happy.
Rather then mourn a death,
Just picture me traveling about somewhere,
Maybe in Shangri-la,
And instead,
Celebrate my life.
I can't stand seeing you sad,
Smile, dear.
It warms the heart.
Sorry I'm weird. I just wanted this out there, in case I were to get in accident or something and I pass. Don't take this as a suicide note, I'm not planning on dying anytime soon. I just want this out there though.
Oh and I want punk rock or classic rock playing, preferably mcr or fob. Sinatra works well too.

A dream is a wish your heart makes
Fron the cinderella movie soundtrack.

You were like a waterfall for my eyes only

Falling all over yourself and absolutely gorgeous

I fell in love with simplicity that day

It was as if you dropped a toaster in my water

I was electrified from the moment I stumbled upon you.
A different perspective than my last poem with the same idea

The words splashed over her lips like a waterfall I have seen too many times.

This is what missing emptiness feels.

But I don't miss the empty.

I miss everything that we once had.

I want to drop a toaster in your pool of water.

Hoping that for one moment you would feel the electricity we use to possess.

Dancing.

She tipped toed through my veins. Watching my ballet recital heart bleed for an encore. Stepping into this and forgetting all else.

We walked. Like trees in the Forest. Rooted. Loving the earth for loving trees while loving the water that gives us another chance to love tomorrow. Let's love like a seed that doesn't understand what growth is. Love like we believe we can be something more. Love with perseverance that sees so much further than the footsteps we have erased from yesterday. Why not love with a withered unending presence of god. A god that is fluent in forgiveness but also speaks in the dialect of love in every language. We are not forgotten emergencies. We are a moment away from being rescued. Into nowhere else but right here and right now.

So dance with me. Spread your toes, bend your knees, and leap out of your skin. Plunge in to this. Without a moment to spare, we will love, like dancers. Fluent and gorgeous.

The moon collapsed.

The sky fell numb.

Plentiful stars watched eagerly as the earth floor unfolded.

Our worlds slowed down.

Long enough to enjoy this catastrophe.

To reach into our throats and pull out promises.

Deflate our lungs with good intentions.

Fill our eyes with things to remember.

And to flood our ears with words unspoken.

Time stood still and glanced in our direction.

~

Upon a beach of silken sand
Neath nighttime's wondrous skies
Stars aglow of heavens hand
Soft moon beams fill your eyes

With gentle seas awash the shore
The scent of ocean wind
A shooting star our smiles explore
As dreams once more begin

Now glistening on waters blue
A hypnotizing light
Illuminates this love so true
I feel for you this night

In solitude of gentle flow
The touch of fingertips
A canopy of evening glow
My kiss upon your lips

This universe is ours to hold
Amongst the stars we'll play
Of secrets now our hearts have told
Beneath the Milky Way
