Good ending
To a bad week
Break from defending,
I feel tired and weak.

Armor to repair,
Blades to sharpen.
Wash the gore from our hair,
To sweet drink and music we hearken.

Weary bones,
Time to rest.
The battle zones,
Now wear our crest.

Hug your children,
Make love to your wives.
Against the odds of a million,
We survive.

Carpe Diem
