If I could only climb the highest mountain peak
Or quietly rest upon a jagged cliff
Perhaps I would find all of life’s answers I seek
To all the what’s, why’s and if’s

There I would sit for hours in total silence
Never uttering a word
Strongly taking hold of all my given patience
Waiting for answers to be heard

I would look into drifting clouds above me
Searching for a single sign
A picture to enlighten me of my destiny
I would surely seek to find

However, I cannot climb the highest mountain peak
Or quietly rest upon a jagged cliff
I have to live my life in the here and now and seek
Answers to all the what’s, why’s and if’s
