8 minutes is how long the warmth of the takes to reach us
8 minutes to stop us dying in a frozen hell.
She doesn't know or care
She won't always be there
And without her
We'll be gone
And the chase for her goes on and on
You are 8 minutes from me now
8 minutes it would take me to be at by your side
But you don't know or care
So I'm here alone and cold

8 minutes from the warmth I need

A 1000 miles from the sleep  I need

And a lifetime way from the love I need.
