I walk through this journey called life
Filled with its ups and down, laughs and cries
Leading me to happiness that lies in the end
Remembering those whom I love and offend

Throughout my life I’ve seen those who run and fall
They all have a special place in my heart and wall
There’s always been that one girl who got my attention
I lost control and took the wrong way in my heart of desperation

The fork in the road that could have leaded me to you
But I took the wrong turn and it leads me to something new
The fork in the road that has changed my life forever
The slightest choice in life can keep us away from each other

The road I’ve been on never seems to take me home
Catching fireflies in the night and tossing rocks and stones
The dark makes it so **** hard to see
But I know at the end of the line I’ll be free

The moon never shines as it did when I was with you
A change in the world that has started over new
But so far wrong turns have lead me to worse
The crows that screech have laid a curse

The fork in the road that could have leaded me to you
But I took the wrong turn and it leads me to something new
The fork in the road that has changed my life forever
The slightest choice in life can keep us away from each other

I trusted my gut to find the right path in the road
But the love I had is gone it’s taken its final toll
The rain from heaven has blurred my vision that leads me to you
Its seems now that my heart and soul doesn’t have the slightest clue

The fork in the road that could have lead me to you
But I took the wrong turn and it lead me to something new
The fork in the road that has changed my life forever
The slightest choice in life can keep us away from each other
