Early morning sun
day has just begun
and you're in a foot race

The wind was howling in my head
but she still lays here in my bed
the opening door
the light on her face

My guitar ate me yesterday
and spit me up in my hide-away
just to see what I’d say

when no one’s around

Bodies dragging through the streets
I wonder if they'll ever see
what’s staring
right at you

A lashing of letters
when the speaking is neat
****** black knees
you feed the streets
you are meat
