Watching your arms limp
Limp you say, watching a man being torn to shreds
Bits of asphalt edge in my skin

Looking within from out of the bounds
Looking within, looking..
The man steps down, shameful - walks dutifully away

The sneering dog-vicious teeth before him was a trick to the eye
That poor man
Didn't see
The dog was just like you and me

But only the wise heart had time to see the truth, it is him not you - dear old friend
