We met for three days and then she had to
return to the Far East - what I liked least
then she wrote and said that she loved me
the scene was set for our love story

We wrote hiundreds of letters, personal
uninhibited, sent and licked before the ink was dry
We meant every word, made love in the air
wonderful when someone says that they really care

She came to me and gave up everything
her heart and radiant smile were mine
to love and cherish, endear, for all time
now I think of her every time I write a line

Many years later it's like acting out a play
we are the stars in the sky till this very day
