Little by little,
The trees begin to bud
They wake from their temporary sleep
The flowers are blooming their pretty pink petals
And my love,
is a love to keep

The lakes and ponds will fill with lily pads,
Croaking toads
And families of geese
The magnolia trees are perfumed by their sweet aroma,
And my love is a love to keep

Pluck, one by one- the petals off a daisy
Childish games;
does he love me or not?
Blowing dandelions and making a wish in the breeze
My love is a love to keep
