Armed and rightly dangerous
religious and slightly pugnacious
on the sidewalk the talk's of the testament
the rent being due on a Sunday.

Molly, the soothsayer tells me
that heaven is mine if I could be
an acolyte of the almighty.

My fiance is the goddess I pray to
she's the light that I see
when the day's through and
the hope that I seek and
I cling to.
