You woke up,
Wash your face,
Put on your clothes,
Went by your business,
Shaking hands,
Passing smiles,
Counting coin,
Got a secret?
Can't tell no body,
Carry your clothes,
Dawn to dusk,
Pick up tomorrow
All, over, again.
Life, ain't nothing at all!
This small poem is from Boardwalk Empire, recited by Daughter Maitland played by Margot Bingham. I do own any rights, never do, never will.
