You just use use use. (this person)
But why consider it when using when (this person)
would give you the world in a heartbeat?
The blink of an eye?
The tick of a clock?
You built (this person) into your safety net.
Knowing full well you can't hold yourself up
enough to catch them back.
You build safety net, after safety net, after safety net.
Until you get to the end.
When your rope finally grows too thin.
You forget (this person) is the only person
who will actually be there to catch and keep you from hitting the ground.
Every. Single. Time. You'd. Fall.
But (this person)
she didn't forget.
And that's okay.
Just don't take her for granted.
Take her places she's never been.
Show her how strong SHE makes you.
Show her.
And don't stop.
But most importantly?
Show her that you'll be there to catch her.
In her darkest time.
When she jumps?
Be her safety net.
this is a poem I had written after taking a long walk trying to figure out what to say to (this person) later that evening. it still remained unsaid.

— The End —
