Hiccup
I just hiccup
it wasn’t fair
the fingers
i just hiccuped
and bang
and bang
and bang
yes
it wasn’t fair
no, please no
she didn’t mean
hiccup
it was just a hiccup
she loved him
she loved him
and bang
and bang
and bang
She soared
the words plain
the man unnamed
she adored
a word of pain
the man unnamed
never setting
the paper thinning
the book heavy
she never closed it
she adored
the man unnamed
she praised
the man unnamed
obsessed
she was obsessed
he was a fiction
a deviant
he didn’t exist
she was adored
in her clutter
of the man
with no name
A book with a missing title
That's how he thought of me
it hurt to be an idol
of a heart that never beat
his demeanor friendly
his hands warm
but his eyes were so dark
and his mind an unclaimed storm
be he not just a trespasser
be he not just a landscape
he was not a flyer
he was not a soarer
but he spoke in rhythm that didn't fail the ear
he spoke of songs that no one stood to hear
and no love
no hate
no emotion
but raw
was his beat
his heart
that never
would never
call
Getting rich
getting greedy
getting lazy
and getting needy
the high life is nice
the low life's not easy
chaos created
from the pollution of the tower
a man at the top
the big man with power
steps on the little people
starving and dying
children corrupted
they themselves are frying
woman on corners
selling for a feeling
one that isn't real
to the men that are dealing
advertise the good that is found in the bad
but there is no yang to this fictional glad
the earth will quake
and we will all fall under
the rich mans mistake
and the poor mans plunder
...
it all began
with the howling soul
who left a man
of pride
he played a man
a man with a role
to suffer
a horrendous ride
he wasn't a lover
nor was he a fighter
yet he longed for the bite
from another biter
but no one would pounce
no one would plea
with a man who so suffered
from the disease he named glee
There he is!
Again today
Playing the banjo
In every way
A skip to his feat
A song to his beat
People will follow him till the end of the street
His lips didn't move
But, boy, did his hands!
Even the busymen danced at their shops and their stands
But the boy was not seen at the end of the day
No one would dream to follow his way

They said he was gods gift to the people of maine
They said he was a boy who just wanted the fame
But he never spoke a word, didnt even look like he breathed
And everyday,  without a word, he took his leave

But there was a reason none followed the boy
You think that they would with all of their joy
But no one came back from the forest I fear
They all end up gone, they all disappear

They say they leave to heaven with the little musician
I say thats all a superstition
I say its his banjo that traps its prey
Luers them into an unclosed space
Where they are forgetten by their father and mother
Their friends, their family, their sister and brother

They say that those strings on the banjo he plays
Are strings from the heavens that lightens our day
But the strings are black metal cords
That cuts the fingers and makes blood pour
Banjo uses the boys blood to play another toon
The boy is enclosed and trapped like the few
That followed its toon and was taken away
By the banjo, the banjo's tune will luer its prey
I dont like banjo's so...yeah :)
