As the rain falls outside
And the sounds of the piano drown my sorrow
I long to borrow your Love for one more day
Asking if you could just stay with me
And As I plead:
"Stay, Stay, Don’t Go Away
Come Back My Love For One More Day"

Because only your Love will do
For that I promise you
I will Love you too
But you say you must go
For I know so
But still I say:
"Stay, Stay, Don’t Go Away
Come Back My Love for One More Day"

And when we do grow old
Our Love will never be sold
For we both know it will remain BOLD
And still all the children will pray:
"Stay, Stay, Don’t Go Away
Come Back My Love For One More Day"

The thoughts stirred in my mind
I've never done anything of this kind
I should've read all the signs
Instead, I fell outside the lines
That lead me to the decline of my heart
If I had been smart
I would want to start all over
But love is like looking for that four-leafed clover.

I spent the money for you
Every word I wrote was true
I packaged it with care
But all I got was a glare
I drove all the way to your house
Only for you to make me feel like a mouse
I left it on the doorstep
And not even a thank you??
These words will bleed
I guess you don't need me anymore
You fill your life with everything but me
I know I am sounding selfish
But at least talk to me
Let me know that you're still alive
Just so I can survive.
I miss you b

If you knew how much I loved you
You would not just open my Snapchats
You would not walk all over me like a mat
You would reply to my texts
You would not talk about your exes
You would start the conversation
You would not leave me in starvation for your love
You would only like me "kind of"
You would know that I am nothing without you
You would not make me feel so blue
You would pick me up
You would love me back
You would make time for us
You would not make me take the bus
You would not just be my Summer
You would be my forever Lover
Only If You Knew How Much I Loved You

She
She was everything
She was the coffee on a cold winters morning
She was the glass of water in the middle of the desert
She was the sun of my darkness
When she was away all I felt was pain
She drove me insane with the beauty she possessed
Even when she looked like a mess
She was my pillow when I needed to sleep
She was the only thing I could keep
Only she was the one that made me weep when she left
She was the one that stole my heart
I should've seen it right from the start
Now I will have to wait
At this gate
With hate
For a new mate....

How long will I have to wait?
Wait for you to love me?
Wait for you to hold me?
How long will it be before I can call you baby?
How long will it be before I can make you breakfast every morning?
Wake you up with a kiss?
Dance with you alone in our apartment?
Give you my everything?
How long will it be before I can cuddle with you on a Sunday morning?
How long will it be before I can call in sick to work just to spend the day with you?
How long will it be before you make me smile just thinking about you?
How long will it be before I can write your name in the only song I will write?
How long will it be before I can finally love you?
How long will I have to wait?
One minute?
One hour?
One day?
One week?
One month?
One year?
Forever?
You are the girl of my life.

Day by day we travel through the fray
As long as the journey may be
We will not submit to thee
Through mountains and rivers
The scorching hot and the cold shivers
We blaze new trails
Going off the rails
Having pride in what we do
Because we need to fill the shoe
Life may throw curves
But we cannot let it affect our nerves
We flow like water falls
Like the wayward wind calls
Life may change us
But we should not fuss
For all we are is living
In this we should be giving

Life, Life
You live forever
Always with someone
You can be together
But while still being clever
But never be to quick to judge
Or else you will get a big nudge
People try to change you
But you decide what you do
Nothing will ever be the same
As long as you break free of these chains
