last night i dreamed i killed myself.

today i wished it was true.
A barrel of a gun is symmetrically aligned to the flesh of a temple
And it's the beauty of the world
The hate you cannot feel
The love you won't reveal
The herbal excuses scenting your hair
The walls of your brain-
Lined in color pallets-
Lushes thoughts

Splattered over their prestigious walls
Our apologies to the maid
For the unfortunate mess we have made

she set the pumpkins out,
and decorated her house.
she got her costume ready,
she was a measly gray mouse.
the witches came riding,
and the black cats hissed.
the neighbourhood boys egged houses,
but her house they missed.
children cried out "TRICK OR TREAT,"
and parents rushed them along.
she was with her group of friends,
a place where she didn't belong.
ghosts come haunting the streets,
and the blood of vampires drip down.
superheroes run house to house,
and clowns turn their frowns upside down.
it's a night that everyone waits for,
a night where the dead roam free.
it's a night where i let myself go,
it's a night where i can be me.
Its not healthy to stay up at night,
pouring bitter liquor down our throats,
trying to erase the sweet promises that were whispered into our ears at 4 am,
that filled our empty hearts.
Those promises were eventually broken,
and so were our hearts,
so we were left
feeling torn
*again.
With your hands on your hips
and a smile on your lips
lookin' like you just
got your first kiss
I'm finding it hard to resist
'cause I'm an artist
and you're a masterpiece
I think you could be
the greatest part of me
if only I had the guts to say

Hello, hello, it's nice to meet you
I'm sorry that these teeth
that greet you
smell of cigarettes
but I think you're
the best in the
room
