an ocean feather snuffs it in an alcove, to my leftjust another pair of lungs to expand and swill the seaand i wave curtly to the ***** on the next corner(nothing to see nothing to see) kindlingher shoulders against the lamp-post shelooks more like an angler than a good timeand paint by number peeling swips, lightning strikesupon her hips and the smoke machine pumps nicotinethrough out my veins, on the verge of somethingepicglitter lines the gutter with a sunless pulse all its ownand concrete currents sweep the ground beneath my feetas i exit the aphotic zone:ale stained blouses and hardened nipplesmake my artist type jealous beneath the soft neonsof the brickyard pizza sign    the whirlpool opens with asureness of free beer to soften my mindand i've done this enough for the anxiety to subsideso i kick off these shoes and iDIVEinto a plethora of flannel jacketsand guys named 'steve'
as i was sailing on the irish seai saw a mermaid in front of mewith flowing hair and a nice gold crownbobbing in the water going up and downwith eyes that were bluer than the sky abovelooking as peaceful as a dovethen she came and said follow me then she took me out to sea.i followed behind her and watched her tailswimming as graceful as the whale.she took me to a cove where she stayedeverything inside was gold inlaidher own little palace in the seaand she showed all this to me.the tide was turning it was time to leaveas i sailed away from this make believeso i set sail and headed for shore.and i wont forget the things i saw.where everything was peaceful and so freethe day sailed the irish sea
i walked the shores of ireland and walked down by the seaand watch the waves roll by right in front of mei watched the seagulls hover gently on the wingwaiting for the shrimps as the tide it pushes ini sit and watch the clouds as they pass gently bysitting there so beautiful in the irish skyi walk along the sand leaving footprints as i gothinking of the things ive seen to give my heart aglow
