She stood across the room
Hair in her face
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
A wallflower blending in amongst the crowd
Time stand still
Different is a term too overused
Lost in a dream
Paralyed bones and torture of the heart
Awaiting for a prince and a new start
A forced smile to hide the truth
Taking that first step is the hardest
Leaving the wall
Stepping into the unimaginable
Her scars light up
That shattered smile heals
She is set free with the wind
Spread your wings and fly.

John let loose with a piercing bellow,
Tossed his axe into the air, motioned for Kevin and Paul,
To take his left and right, Kevin held his blade out,
Guiding its purpose, resting his left hand on its gibberish,
Paul tightened his grip, felt his bones straining from tension,
Three prongs glimmered in the falling light, evening was fast upon them,
Andulan caught his axe, and threw it aside,
John whistled, it spun, built up speed and returned for another go,
Paul pierced the girl in the chest, green blood oozed out and around his weapon,
Vines took away his choices, wrapped around his arms, he was paralyed,
Come closer, I'll take away your fears with my fangs,
She pulled him closer, held his chin under her delicate fingers, touched his left cheek,
A single tendril slithered up to his neck before coiling tightly around it, stealing his breath.
Andulan moved in for the bite, tasted it before her lips made contact,
Kevin sang into his ear, cut him loose and took him to the ground,
John's axe slammed into Andulan with enough force to cleave a castle in two,
She was knocked unconscious...

Its been like this for so long
I don't remember when it first happened
maybe it was the first time I saw you smile
Then again, maybe it was a coincidence
I could barely breathe
I could barely see the glimmer in your eyes
Maybe it was gone
like the innocence in my soul would soon be
Like my glimmer was too
I felt nothing, empty and yet present
Frozen as I felt every limb in my body paralyed
I could hear your footsteps each timeĀ
Step, creaking, step, A deep sigh
I know you're there
I can smell the rotten breath you breathe
I squeeze my eyes closed
Late at night after the beer
After your wife said no
You sat on my bedside stroking my hair
Calling me baby girl
To you I was anything but a girl
You used to read me bed time stories
Now I replay stories in my head
I watch from above
While you whisper in my ear
Wake up darling
You will miss the stars
I'm to old to fall for the stars line
Yet he says it anyway. I do not move
Staying as still as possible
Hoping this is the night he will give up
But we both know he won't
Limp i stay
Dreaming of a place far from here and daylight
I miss the light that comes in nights place
