The girl who always laughed, cried.
The girl who seemed unbreakable, broke.
She dropped the fake smile as a tear rolled down her cheek and whispered to herself,
“I can't do this anymore.”

Darkness enveloped around her as her unbreakable heart started to crack.
She's hurt.
But every day, she walks with a smile,
‘Cause that's just who she is:
The girl who never stopped smiling.

They can't see that she's hurting.
They don't notice her pain.
The girl who feels like she is drowning in the rain,
while everyone else is sitting in the sunlight.
The girl with the eyes full of innocence; the face of an angel.
Her personality is that of a dreamer and a smile that hides more pain than they can imagine.

She was just a girl.
Who experienced heartbreaking pain.
Who was taught never to show her true feeling as nobody would care.
She knew to hold back those tears until she was alone.
She grows cold with every stabbing knife in her back.

Warm red liquid, flowing down her arm, is all the comfort she needs.
Silver metal, shining so bright, is her only true friend.
Her scars, hidden from the world’s judgeful eyes,
hold memories of hurtful words and repressed memories.

The unbreakable girl finally broke.
Tell me what you think!!! I hope you like it!!!! I figured out how to italicize and bold words thanks to @Ash Angel
she replaces her tears with laughs
awakens at night to avoid nightmares and the judgeful eyes of loved ones
she drinks away her confusions
smokes her way out of frustrations
injects affection into her heart of lust
feeds her mind with vindictive thoughts

she watched his love turn to doubt through her bloodshot eyes
and so,
she laughed to replace her eyes that didn't work
she laughed so hard until her stomach hurt

the judgeful puritan
is contradiction
and yet to be a puritan
is to judge

their glass house falls
when their mirrors turn translucent

With a heavy heart, alone to wallow in a pit of sadness, lost with nowhere but to go but home, like an angel of mercy you came to my rescue, your question of availability was the welcome home from the family to the battle weary soldier. Little did you know of the torment I have been facing yet somehow you knew, knew to reach out, take a chance, so happy that you did, as that pit of sorrow I would have remained to this day. Free of judgeful eyes, you listened to my story unfold, having the prospective a new, you saw the problem and the solution. I could not see, as I was blinded by emotion, like a newborn babe, my eyes have been opened. My vision still blurry, direction is set, but the future is uncertain but hopeful. My journey has just begun, long and full of challenges, I now stand armed with the tools that will help me to fight the good fight, to honor thyself and thy future. I know not if you will ever know how much I needed your words, your ear, your friendship, only to say that had you not come to me by the grace of the universe, I know not where I would be now. Lost, alone, and still empty inside, always wondering what is wrong with my soul, why does it cry out in anguish. Scouring the vast knowledge afforded to me by technology, I searched and searched for the answers, theory’s, suggestions, all helpful, but none were the solution I needed. Your gift of clarity and wisdom has not only helped me face each day with a renewed sense of purpose, but also given me a sense of hope and a confidence to know that in the end I will be fine. The road ahead will be filled with twists and turns, potholes to be avoided but thanks to you, my direction is clear, my path is set, all that I have to do now is turn the key.

There’s something you don’t know
Past all the smiles
I’d like to leave this place

Go somewhere happier
Somewhere I can be free
No rules
Nobody telling me how i should feel
Away from all the judgeful eyes
Somewhere bright
Somewhere i can be myself
This place will be a haven
It’ll have feelings of giddiness
Love
Things I am numb to now

No one knows I think these things
And i guess it’s better off that way
Everything will be okay
Because one day ill leave
And truly be at peace
And no one will know what i was going through

The voices will leave
The ones telling me to do bad things
They'll be replaced by happy ones
And i could be truly happy
