"gambier" poems
Sonnet.
Je vis assis, tel qu'un ange aux mains d'un barbier,
Empoignant une chope à fortes cannelures,
L'hypogastre et le col cambrés, une Gambier
Aux dents, sous l'air gonflé d'impalpables voilures.
Tels que les excréments chauds d'un vieux colombier,
Mille Rêves en moi font de douces brûlures :
Puis par instants mon coeur triste est comme un aubier
Qu'ensanglante l'or jeune et sombre des coulures.
Puis, quand j'ai ravalé mes rêves avec soin,
Je me tourne, ayant bu trente ou quarante chopes,
Et me recueille, pour lâcher l'âcre besoin :
Doux comme le Seigneur du cèdre et des hysopes,
Je pisse vers les cieux bruns, très haut et très ****
Avec l'assentiment des grands héliotropes.

What does Christmas mean for me as a Buddhist
You see I think carols are so peaceful they could be known as a Buddhist thing
I think that people try to hard to not enjoy going to carols by candlelight each year because they are not a Christian but as o said carols are ever so peaceful
They can be a Buddhist belief
And with putting the Christmas tree up, you might add a little Buddha to put on or under the tree and I can tell you that will look ****** great and Buddhists can chsnge a few Christians way of thinking by saying as they eat a lot of food Such as sugar and roast dinners or prawns which could make you fat and as a Buddhist
I find it is much easier to think about not eating too much food over Christmas
By all means we must enjoy the carols by candlelight and enjoy the present exchange but when it comes to the food, try not to eat too much because there will always be someone giving you forbidden food as a present
And if you eat that you will be fat and I need to have s dip at the carols but really that is no good really because as you sing the carols you eat and your friend who you go with looks at you and you look awful doing 2 things at once
Sometimes I really look forward to the carols so much I watch the carols on YouTube like the cairns carols by candlelight where I can enjoy the carols with the wonders of technology
And I watch Christmas parades on YouTube like from Adelaide and Perth and mt gambier and I watch the Macy's thanksgiving day parade from New York and that is a great parade for the holiday season and I google the Christmas parades or concerts on YouTube so I could enjoy carols and the fun of Christmas all over the YouTube which turns out to be very cool
When I go out I play Christmas music to get me in the holiday mood, yeah, I am a Buddhist but I love life and I love the holiday season and I played santa at Vinnies for 10 years but I believed I was santa back in the time of religion when I was the 323 year old man and people claim life started with Jesus being born but that is a load of crap because if that was true why are there so many people with wonderful minds and amazing thoughts
You see their minds explains how people have been going on for time before dinosaurs where we all go together and said we will believe in anything
You see people might never have experienced something in any part of their life and they become very streetsmart about the whole thing that they are doing, for instance I never got kidnapped in any part of my life and I was obsessed with it
Or I was the Christmas man and I hear voices saying I ain't the Christmas man
Then I hear another voice saying they were the Christmas men I got sick of these voices
But I love Christmas and I love singing carols like on YouTube and on tv or in my city
And I love life in every way

The many natural wonders
That Australia has to show
Mysteriously appearing
So many years ago
Looking up onto the Snowy’s
From the lakes of Jindabyne
You appreciate the beauty
That will stand the test of time
From Katoomba falls to Orphan Rock
The three sisters standing tall
The beautiful Blue Mountains
Where Mother Nature gave her all
Down south of the border
Along the coastline you will see
The apostles and the Loch Ard Gorge
Formed by limestone naturally
The Grampian to the Dandenong’s
Buchan Caves to Wilsons Prom
It makes you wonder when and where
This great beauty came from
Travelling further West
You will wonder what you’ve found
The Blue Lake of Mt Gambier
The colourful Wilpena Pound
Over the Nullarbor you’ll go
Cross the Great Australian Bight
Flinders Ranges far behind you
Slowly fading out of sight
On through the Sterling Ranges
Where the wildflowers abound
Jagged peaks of Granite
Shooting upward from the ground
Then to the Red Centre
The most wondrous place of all
Its colours ever changing
With every day’s nightfall
The Olgas up to Arnhem Land
Devils Marbles, Uluru
Katherine Gorge to Mataranka
Standley Chasm, Kakadu
Over to the Sunshine State
The holiday makers dream
The Barrier Reef, The Daintree
The National Parks of Tambourine
The South Pacific Islands
Blue Waters and white Sands
To the tropical rainforests
Which are further north, inland
Then down to the Apple Isle
With its historic convict past
Cradle Mountain, Derwent Valley
Russell Falls and Tasman’s Arch
The many natural wonders
So majestic and so grand
Make it easy to appreciate
This great Australian Land

A Jewish boy walked me home last night.
He held my hand as I gushed about You.
The soggy cool of Midwestern winter
Filled our lungs and padded our steps.
I imagined I was in your snow globe:
You strategically shook the tiny plastic flakes
And smiled, seeing them swirl
Around us as we whispered.
I hope that he thought about You,
On his walk alone across the fields
After we had said goodnight.
That his globe water was a little less frozen,
Perspiring in your colossal palms
As you patiently wait to shake
His world awake with grace,
As You so love to do.
