On wind torn cliffs
they hop and bound
these bright beaked birds
diminutive sweet clowns

They are prey to many a Gull
skewers do take them on wing petrol
cute and gentle they look to me
yet never to small fish of the salt seas

See them plunder the shallows
then rise from water cold and blue
watch them in their cubersome wonder
flying and flapping like humming birds

My friend ask me "how
I should propose my girl"?
"Should I say you are
the most beautiful just like a pearl"?
OR
"Should I knee down
to make her feel like queen"?
"Should I cut my wrist with her name
to tell, for me what she mean?"
"Should I buy a diamond ring
so to give her a happy swing?"

What if
She don't want the ring and royal treat
Just want some love words on plain sheet

What if
****** cut and metaphor to pearl didn't give her swing
Your promise to share your life give her wing

What if
She don't want you ever to be on knees
She may want a caring hand when she needs

"ohh my my
you are a girl too still Don't know the girly trend
God knows how your one will impress you, my friend!"

He left while thinking how he should propose
"Should I sprankle petals of rose?"
"Or should I......

I stand still and puzzled
if my words are so cubersome to understand????
If my definition for love is too simple to lend??????
