Chaotic Polarity
WhyamIaSpoon Sep 2015
Sadness and joy
Boldness and coy
I try to protect what you can destroy

You open and I close
Dangerous thorns on a gorgeous rose
You try to hide what the world wants to expose

Chaos and stability
Fighting our tranquility
Together, we head into the world of invincibility

Boston
WhyamIaSpoon Apr 2014
This is where I love
Boston
The frigid cold, the night lights
Bring out the adventure in us, the child in us
As we run through the streets
Free
As we explore our city, blaze new paths only we've walked
Where we can lay together, falling into an uninterrupted slumber
Where can can love at the top of our lungs in the hot rain

This is when I love
Young, but bold
Figuring each other's past out
Looking into the uncertain future
Clawing, pushing, fighting our way forward
When it all could end instantly, that's when we love
When things are still dangerous, when things can go wrong
We love when we don't know what's next, when we are still in love

This is what I love
The smile on your face, the glance you give me
The little smirk that no one else could see
The winks, the touch, the hand in mine
The tongue in my mouth, the lips on my cheek
The hugs that you give, the hurt when you leave

This is who I love
You
Your golden blonde hair as it blows in the wind
The edgy red tips that shine in the light
You love me when others would turn away
And you cry when you think you've hurt me
As I do the weirdest things you kiss me more
Watch me sleep and hold me still
The bluest eyes

This is why I love
Because no one deserves it more
Because in my darkest times you were there
Because I swore I would change you for the better
Because I need you to satisfy my addiction
I love you because you don't judge me for who I am
Because I can be myself and not have a fear in the world
Because I know that no matter what
At the end of the day, I'll at least have you
I'll at least have you to send me a text
You to say hello
You to give me the most basic love that I don't get

I love you in Boston
I love you when we're afraid and unsure of where to go
I love your smile as I tickle you
I love you
Because you love me

Tick Tock
WhyamIaSpoon Jan 2014
It's quiet
So, so quiet
I hear nothing but the tick tock
tick tock, tick tock
I live for the tick tock
tick tock, tick tock
Coming home, I see you
What a strong knot you have around your neck
I can almost see the veins burning into the fibers
What a precarious position your body swings
Tick tock, Tick tock
Your feet dangle
Obsessively grasping for the ground
Tick tock, Tick tock
You falter, you drop
Tick Tock, Tick Tock
My love for you will not stop
TICK Tock, TICK Tock
Wait, I'll be home soon

Treasure Chest
WhyamIaSpoon Dec 2013
I treasure my treasure chest
For treasuring treasure chests leads to pleasure -- the best
The treasure in my treasure chest I treasure because it's a treasure of no measure

Somehow ten cases in, there's more to discover
More to uncover about my treasure chest

On the outside, she looks like golden plated happiness
Shining with her spirit through gems of holiness

I am the key

But this treasure chest itself is not a treasure for the treasure it holds but because it is a treasure
Look at the chest
See how its been blessed
Look past the gems
And see what's repressed

It's dark ten layers down
******, grimy, and bitter
You see what's underneath wallowed in litter
But this is the true face what's treasured for pleasure
Ten layers down you find that bit of glitter

That you hold them in your palm
Trusting you with the key
That when the treasure is revealed
You will turn and be their shield

What can I say
You blew me away
Some how you made me
Forget yesterday

I shed away my past
One that never would last
Craziness, hatred
Something unable to grasp

Love comes and goes
But hatred comes with woes
for I hate her
From my head to my toes

She ruined my nights
Refused to hold me tight
But when you came
She even blocked the light

It saddens me that her evils reached so far
That it managed to shake us ajar
But let it be forever known
That girl, you rose the bar
Dedicated to someone I once met at a party who let me lay on her stomach. From that moment on, I forgot everything in the past and let her eyes, her touch, and her love take me on the adventure of my life.

The Great Escape
WhyamIaSpoon Nov 2013
Oh, how I want to sail away from here
Everything smells like fear, smells like beer
How can I sleep when I know what's going on in the next room
Laying in the darkness you just want it to go away
Every scream, every slam brings chills down your back
My toes are cold with sweat how long am I going to stay
This way let it slip and fall and hit the rack
Love is about making sacrifices, not blaming the other for all it's worth
You clean the dishes
No you're lazy
You don't care
Who took the kids out then?
I'm going to pull out my hair
Why is it that everything good on this earth is yours
Are these your kids? I gave them birth
What do you do besides run to the corner and hide behind your palm tree
Watching your own dad turn into a monster
Pushing her down, you turn and flea
How can you be a son, to watch your mother cry and feel nothing
Broken, hopeless the sky falls
Stuck looking in the mirror wondering what you've become, wondering where all your feelings have gone
Grab the keys, slam the door harder than any of them
Rationalize my actions for leaving my family alone
I've seen my sister scared for her life
I've seen my mother cry and want to **** herself
I've seen my dad hit his wife
But all I care about is myself
Listening to them until the break of dawn
Can't you see what your doing to your daughter
How can you call yourself a father
Having your wife and children hide locked in the bathroom cause you're such a bother
Maniac, but depressed what do I do
He just wanted the love of the family but not getting it through
Slamming his head on the bed frame in the daughter's view
What does it take to love someone so much
How does it become such an obligation
How do you lose that touch
Oh, I want to sail away from here
I'm never following my fathers footsteps not going to be molded into that shape
Just going to drive, going to strive for you
I've seen what I've been denied, throw it all away, living the great escape

Scarlet Ties
WhyamIaSpoon Sep 2013
It's something new
Yet reminiscent
It slowly creeps on you
Just like it did once before

The stars glow in her eye
Evilly pulling
Stop what you're doing
Before it turns to something you abhor

Get it out
It worms deep through
The crevices of my mind
Planting a seed

It's forbidden, unethical
Use your protection
But the craving
I can't fight the need

Save me from her wrath
And whisk me away
Hold my hands and cover my eyes
Deafen my ear from her lies

It's you I love the soil underneath
Always grounded beneath my feet
With you I keep my scarlet ties
Stopping me from my goodbyes

How am I supposed to live in this guillotine
I can't move my head
I can't do what I want
How am I supposed to live

Do I live carelessly
Screaming and shouting til my lungs bleed
Shaking and fussing in hysteria til the skin of my neck peels
Just so it can all be severed with a seamless blade

Right through my neck
The fine edges sliding through skin and bone
Leaving only my limp body

Or do I live in fear
Constantly looking up at the blade
Begging for mercy like a coward
Like a *******

It looks so real
so precise and trained
Deadly and opening

It hovers above me
Waiting to fall
To claim another life
Another love

How am I supposed to live

He sits behind the fence
Only to be drawn out by the smell
Of fear, of the air getting dense.

He puts on a show for the crowd
Only seeing reality when the master
Cracks the whip, screaming "You're too loud!"

Because of you, he waits to be pulled
By the edge of his choke collar with a
Grin on his face, knowing he'll never be fooled.

Because of you, he'll come out.

WhyamIaSpoon Dec 2012
As if God had reached down,
The stars aligned.
Seasons turned and
The eyes combined.
Just to make me mad
She flavored colors of the rainbow,
Enticing me with what she had
To places where I must not go.
Before long, the arrow hit it's mark
I'm stuck praying you don't say goodbye
We are peanut butter and jelly
Here starts the story of you and                                                                     I

Things fly
We cry for happiness
You'd catch my eye
Move on, not asking why
I comply, hold you watching
The clear blue-sky.
Would you smile if I reached for your hand?
Taking you land by land,
Smiling, how grand it is.
Holding each other tight
like a rubber band.
We share what we                                                                                          Love

My heart stops without you.
I need you to function.
We go together
like peanut butter and jelly.
How far would you go?
To see the lights with me.
We function as one.
Willing to go the length,
Braving against fire and ice,
Grasping what the future holds.
Forgive me if I ask too much

Kindergarten
WhyamIaSpoon Mar 2012
"All I really need to know about how to live and what to do and how to be I learned in kindergarten. Wisdom was not at the top of the graduate-school mountain, but there in the sandpile at Sunday School. These are the things I learned. Share everything. Play fair. Don't hit people. Put things back where you found them.  Clean up your own mess. Don't take things that aren't yours. Say you're sorry when you hurt somebody. Wash your hands before you eat. Flush. Warm cookies and cold milk are good for you. Live a balanced life-- learn some and think some and draw and paint and sing and dance and play and work every day some. Take a nap every afternoon. When you go out into the world, watch out for traffic, hold hands, and stick together. Be aware of wonder. Remember the little seed in the Styrofoam cup. The roots go down and the plant goes up and nobody really knows how or why, but we are all like that. Goldfish and hamsters and white mice, and even the little seed in the cup-- they all die. So do we. And then remember the ****-And-Jane books and the first word you learned-- the biggest word of all-- LOOK. Everything you need to know is in there somewhere. The Golden Rule and love and basic sanitation. Ecology and politics and equality and sane living. Take any one of those items and extrapolate it into sophisticated adult terms and apply it to your family life or your work or your government or your world and it holds true and clear and firm. Think what a better world it would be if we all--the whole world-- had cookies and milk about three o' clock every afternoon and then lay down with our blankies for a nap. Or if all governments had as a basic policy to always put things back where they found them and to clean up their own mess. And it's still true, no matter how old you are-- where you go out into the world, it's best to hold hands and stick together.
I found this poster somewhere, and I wanted to share it

I'm alone
There are no more paths
I'm scared of the dark

Darling everything's going to be alright
I remember you told me never to leave you alone
And here I am with you in the darkness
The sun is going down and we should stay in the dark

Their voices haunt me
The war is raging on
Come morning light
I'll be safe and sound

Just close your eyes, the darkness is where we'll stay
In the dark you can't see the war and all the hatred
All you'll see is my face
All you'll feel is my hand

The light shows all
It shows you the blood and death
Don't look outside it's all there
Why are you scared of the dark?

I'm not
Now I'm scared of the light

The Box Kid
WhyamIaSpoon Feb 2012
Box kid, Box kid
He's got a box head
He looks fairly weird
And that's commonly said

But he's not to be feared
He just wants a friend
He'll be faithful to anyone
To the end

You don't know this box kid and many don't
It's because the things you said
That left him alone

And with your words of hate and terror, you wanted to transcend
When in reality, if you stayed put, the box kid could've been your friend
My friend actually showed me a song that she wrote that originally was supposed to be funny. However, when she gave me the lyrics, I felt like the box kid was kind of an outcast and so it led me to edit the song a bit and make it relate more the the theme presented in the poem. I know the poem already sends the message, but I would just like to reiterate once more. Please, just because someone looks weird, acts in a funny way, or has odd habits, don't make fun of them or alienate them. For all you know, they could be very cool people. For all you know, they could be the life of the party. Most people these days are so boring and unoriginal; frankly, you should be looking for these "weird" people so they can spice up your life.

WhyamIaSpoon Jan 2012
My auspicious and audacious assault augments the annoyance of aged accomplices.

My bodacious broadside of boffolas berates and buffaloes bros beneficently.

A classy crusade Clownishly chiseling and criticizing childishness.

A devilish ******* of dillydallying dullards; devoutly denying dimwits the dulcet dream of defiance.

Excessive, exuberant edification, ebulliently eliminating education-evictees.

A fair-weather frolic in flippancy with furious fools floundering in flawed foppishness.

Gregariously grating glum guys gleefully, growing grander garnishes of gripping gallantry gaily.

Heckling hooligans highlights my heavenly humor.

Irreverently irking irritable, iniquitous idiots in inestimably infuriating and incredible instances.

A jolly, jocular **** joking with jerks.

A kreiger kicking kleptomaniacs in the karyotype. (Cut me some slack, this is 'k', after all.)

A ludicrous, laughing lambaste of lollygagging lunatics, loftily loosing luscious lunacy on lucky losers.

A magnificent masterpiece of malfeasance, a monstrous, malevolent mission of massive misfortune for the minor minors missing no malicious missive.

A noxious, narcissistic niggling of nitwits, niftily nixing the noisome naivete of niggardly nobs.

An offhand, off-color outburst of outlandish observations to outclass the obnoxious overtures of obsequious offal.

A pragmatic prediction of possible platitudes or platypi, a placid parley of pyrotechnic pleasantries provoking Pyrrhic protections by prurient prats.

A quixotic quibble quarreling with a queer quarry.

Ribald ribbing, ruining the robust reality of the repreachful, repugnant, and rapacious with risque ridiculousness.

A silly, slighting slander of sluglike slavishness, succinctly sinking sloppy simpletons sourly.

Tracing the titillating talent of towing tyranny to towering terrors to tactless, togless, terrapins of the times.

There is a smolder
The light beats like a babies heart
Dark soot struggles to hold the feeling within

It smells alive and faintly familiar
The ashes shudder
The heat breathes
It starts again

Tentatively, it prods the ash
Rearing its back, it remembers
pain
betrayal
sacrifice
Approaching cautiously
Trying to bring back the warmth

It flickers with familiarity
A touch of warmth
They bond and flare
Sending sparks into the air

Glimmering, the air rises to the skies
On the ground it shimmers
Scarred by ash, it still shines

I hear the songs that say wish you were here
They ask me to think about who I want near

My thoughts instantly race to you
why can't they go
I can't tell what you want or how you feel
since you don't show

Actions speak louder than words
but obviously you don't get what that means
You tell me you care
but you say that through a computer screen

Where are your emotions
Why don't you act the way you feel
I don't want your words
I need you to release what you conceal

But by now I'm not sure if things will last
Too many secrets, to many fights, we're a thing of the past

its funny how good memories can make you cry
its funny how forever never really seems to last
its funny how much you'd lose if you forget about your past
its funny how 'friends' can just leave you when your down
its funny how when you need someone they're never around,
its funny how people change and think they're so much better
its funny how many lies are packed into one "love letter"
its funny how people forgive even though the cant forget
it's funny how one night can contain so much regret
its funny how ironic life turns out to be
but the funniest part...
is that none of that's funny to me.

Hot Air Ballons
WhyamIaSpoon Dec 2011
I think that I might fly away, in my hot air balloon,
And hide from worldly worries on the dark side of the moon;
There’s but one thing I need before I float into the blue:
I need a sky companion and I want it to be you.

We’ll fly beyond the storm clouds and we’ll watch from up above,
I’ll cover you in rainbows as we feel each others’ love;
You’ll shower in the stars at midnight in our special place,
I’ll dry you with a comet’s tail and kiss your beaming face.

Dreamy drifting panorama, changing every day,
Every night your loving smile will be my milky way,
The moon will wane before us, sailing there in heaven’s height,
For nothing else can challenge our love’s everlasting light.

Venus shining on us, glowing soft at our devotion,
Our daily drifting dalliance in love’s celestial ocean,
I’ll write you lovers’ poetry, and you will be my muse,
Orion and Andromeda will oversee our cruise.

We’ll sleep with clouds as pillows, maybe steal an angel’s wings,
Then fly as magic lovebirds, or slide round Saturn’s rings,
And should we tire of drifting and the stars all floating by,
We’ll hook onto a meteor and soar across the sky.

Will you consent to be my mate on our celestial ship?
I’m ready, heart all packed with love, to last us for the trip,
Take my hand and step aboard, we’re heading for the sun,
We’re flying till we find the place where our two souls are one.

I wake up from a world of shades and darkness
Where I have found someone of my liking
Every night I see you in my dreams
But every time it happens, the less real it seems

How fast can I be transported to my dreamworld with you

Now with the people I know and real life
Everything you do for a goal
No spontaneous things and fairy tales
Only people who succeed and people who fail

It seems like just a blink of an eye and your gone

With the click of a button my mind goes blank
Endless flying, shooting, and dying
The love flows out of me and all is filled with anger
This dream world scares me with it's danger

I want your hand so maybe I'll wake up for once

I'm going under into my dreamworld again
I've got my feet stuck in three worlds
I'm falling forever and I need to break through
I'm trying to remember the world with you

Wake me up and tell me what dreamworld you're in

Look me in the eye and tell me you don't want to go

Take my hand
Together we stand
Follow me down
I'll show you around

We'll go down through the eyes, we can go down low

The place is new
Chilling you to the crown
Watch for the cue
And follow me down

Keep holding on, nothing is going to change this town

Quick and swift
Run and lift
Give me a kiss on the cheek
As we swim through the creek

Then through the clouds and the sky, take my hand and follow me down

Everything is still from our hands to our mouths
There is no need for me to turn and see your face
And you look straight ahead into the blank white space
There is no need for me to call your name or hold your hand
And you don't need to say hi or make a stand
Because deep down inside you know that I'll never leave you for another
We've reached the state where our love for each other
Exceeds our need for each other

We're standing four feet apart waiting for the inevitable
We don't know what to say or how to start
How can we even imagine what's next to come when we depart

How hard can it be to say good bye
How hard can it be to convince yourself that you'll meet again
When in reality you know you'll never see their face again

You never realize how much someone means to you until you lose them
And until the moment where you said good bye and I walked out on to the welcome mat
I never really understood a quote like that
WhyamIaSpoon Jan 2011
A storm is coming,
the sky is darkening
and rain begins to fall

I hear booms in the distance
followed by eerie claps
wondering is this my call

The wind picks up
I'm swayed side to side
I start to think how I'm going to cope

But then flash and bang
my life's path is set in front of me
in this lowly form, in this daily form, destiny comes as a rope

Stretching to the storm filled horizon, this rope has no end
as I grasp its frayed body, the ground and wind shift
the world pushes against me as I begin to pull

I crossed deserts and walked through valleys
pain tied me to a chair in a winter wonderland
but my burning heart kept me warm and full

No matter the push, no matter the blisters I kept my stride
I kept my stride til fate had kicked in and our paths crossed

In this snowy land, I found you frozen in place
I gazed into your eyes and put my hand on your frost

The covers melt away and you give me a broken and brutal hello
I see your smile and your shiver
as you realize that your frozen heart has become burning ice

From your pale blue skin you draw a breath
you take your rope in hand and start to move
the limbs of stillness push on forward and decided to aspire

As I watch you, I reach for my rope
but I only see white and I get colder and colder
for you have turned my warm core to freezing fire

You are gone, before the water settles.

Never have we shared a passing glance,
let alone a mystical moonlit dance.
Daydreams and fantasies, in the sand,
washed away as the tide stretches it's hand.

Never will this be, you and I,
we are from different worlds, and to the truth i cry.
This way may be better, I silently muse
for always alone, I have nothing to lose.

Never are you deserted for all it may seem,
I am always beside you, in essence and in dream
and through all of eternity as light shines through,
We may not be one, but I am always beside you.
This is a poem my friend wrote she asked me to post it
Hope you like it

Merry Christmas My Friend
WhyamIaSpoon Dec 2010
Did anyone ever tell you
Just how special you are
The way you walk the way you talk
You're your own little superstar
Did anyone ever tell you
How important you make others feel
The amount of happiness bottled up in you
Its almost seems unreal
Did anyone ever tell you
Many times, when they were sad
That your words lifted their spirits up
And somehow deep inside made them glad
For the time you spent giving and giving
And sharing whatever you find
There are no words to thank you
This is how you were designed
Did anyone ever tell you
Just how much they love you
How much they never wished for you to leave
Well I'm telling you today and Merry Christmas too
This is a poem i wrote for a friend for their christmas present :)

Save me
WhyamIaSpoon Dec 2010
I'm so so sorry i broke the rules
I lost my left hand and now my right one too
Our only connection is the one i wear on my neck
Please save me
My world is failing
Temptation takes me over
I no longer have the strength
I have done wrong
I no longer can go the length
When i get down on my knees
why can't i feel you there
I need our bond back
Save me please

Lonely
WhyamIaSpoon Dec 2010
It's 11 on a Friday night and I'm sitting here by myself
The music is playing lightly and the talk is soft
a wave of loneliness washes over me, something uncommon
So I sit here picking at my food wondering who to call, who to talk to
If this is what it feels like to be alone,
then i wish every person had a heart to match theirs
In a world so big you feel small when your alone and out of place
But to comfort yourself you can always think about memories
You can listen to other people talk or sleep in your dream world
But no i can't deal with the food, i need to find a friend
So with my phone I call and I call but with no luck
I look at the time, quarter of twelve and pick up my jacket
I say good bye and leave the tip while walking outside
The cold breeze chills me as i walk into the darkness alone

Superman
WhyamIaSpoon Dec 2010
Don't say you love me
Don't look at me with those eyes
Don't get on your knees
and pray at the skies

I'm higher than a satellite
and your stuck on the street
Please don't call for me
the next time when we meet

Don't call for me
Don't call me when you can
Don't call for me
I won't be your superman

I'm not flying through your hoops again
You'll never be my wife
Don't ask me to stop your bullets
I won't save your life

Don't you torture me with your words
You know that I can feel
Just keep shooting those bullets
my heart is made of steel

My heart is made of steel, but even steel can dent
Superman still has his weakness just covered by might
My dear love you dent my steel
You are my kryptonite

Mother Nature
WhyamIaSpoon Dec 2010
It's raining ever so lightly out on the street
The tiny water droplets are pelting the ground, shattering as they meet
The ants scatter away, their colony deep underground
The birds take cover under a tree without making a sound
The air is warm, the ground is wet
Mother nature is soothing and calm and hasn't destroyed mankind yet.

Jump
WhyamIaSpoon Nov 2010
I'm standing on a bridge
Darkness surrounding the land
The wind has blown the leaves across the ground
Sending chills from my spine to my hand

The water is black with a circle of white
Ice cold, dark, and ominously beautiful
As I stand here playing back the memories
The pain of you leaving jolts in, so so pitiful

Looking down I see my reflection in the water
Ripples appear across my face because of dripping tears
I tried to stay strong but it's not working
My heart has decayed over the years

Explosions going through my head
Tears well up, my stomach closes, and my heart begins to lump
Why did you have to leave me?!?!
On this bridge I see no other choice, glancing at the grave one last time I jump

Poisonous Creatures
WhyamIaSpoon Nov 2010
Poisonous creatures are around me
whispering secret words
they corrupt my mind
and break it into thirds
I can't keep focus anymore
the light is gone
I can't see where I'm going
I've become a pawn
Poisonous creatures are controlling me now
I don't know what to do
Voices in my head, movements that aren't mine
I must break through
Grip so strong, attached to my heart
I see their odd features
They come closer and I'm trapped forever
by these poisonous creatures

Mudkip Poem...
WhyamIaSpoon Nov 2010
You have read a lot of poems but none like thee.
This will be an epic poem just wait and see.
Mudkip wrote this one not me.
He's written a few poems... i think three.
He wants you to hug an american angelica tree.
If you don't he'll call the L.A.P.D.
Though that's not a guarantee.
Mudkip is part of the Bourgeoisie.
So be careful he can get them for free.
Mudkip also wants you to know he likes your sayings with glee.
Like your famous one "I'm not the ******! I'm the ****-ee"
Mudkips knows thats not true though he disagrees.
Mudkip can't finish the poem he has to go ***.

I Was Lucky to Meet You
WhyamIaSpoon Nov 2010
To you I maybe just another boy
I might not be high in your eyes,
I'm just some other toy
To you I might be a monster who broke your heart,
Someone to file under "heart breakers",
Someone you shouldn't have trusted from the start
But to me
You'll always be my first love
The girl who kept me up all night,
The girl who made my heart flutter on sight
To me you'll always be the hidden princess in classes,
Playing with your hair and adjusting your glasses
To me your the girl who will forever have a place in my heart,
The girl who I trusted from the start
You had me shouting for joy
Dancing in my room at the end of the night
You had me blushing in class
Stuttering on my words, scared of your flight
To you
I might be a monster, and a heart breaker too
But if I could see you one last time I would say
I was lucky to meet you

Lucky
WhyamIaSpoon Oct 2010
You are lucky, luckier than me
You have not one pet, but actually three
Throughout your house I see games and cars
Boathouses, computers, and bars
You have everything you want, you live like a marquis
You are lucky, much luckier than me
But now I have found out something special, something very true
As a matter of fact I am lucky, luckier than you
I may not have all the money in the world, or the latest game
I may not have the hottest looks, or all of the fame
But I can tell you this, I'm happy with my life
I love my friends, my family, and my wife
I have something that you'll never have, something not shown in the latest debut
I have love, happiness, and great friends, so in a sense,
I am lucky, much luckier than you

Vows are broken
Memories are false
Don't fall for these tricks you'll be at a loss
Friendship never lasts
and neither does love
In this life be yourself don't care for all of the above

What makes a poem a poem?
WhyamIaSpoon Oct 2010
What makes a poem a poem?
Why do rhyming words in a certain fashion have such a great effect?
Is it my expression?
Your fascination?
Or is there no explanation
Why do the few descriptive words set the scene of tranquility and beauty?
Serenity
Amenity
is my identity
How is it that the rhythm gets you going just the right way
Setting the beat
Beating the heat
because no matter what i just can't be beat
But sometimes isn't poetry more of your feelings?
I'm not striving for the perfect line
Frankly i don't care i just want you to be mine
Oh (insert lover's name here) you are just divine
So here I am with my pen and paper trying to impress the world
But poetry should have more of a meaning
it should come out of your heart
but my heart doesn't have much in it, it has quite a bit of room
so brb ttyl bada bing bada boom

Move Along
WhyamIaSpoon Oct 2010
What do you do when you've tried your best,
passed the test,
but still feel depressed?
What do you do when the road your walking down is lit on fire,
you start to prespire,
and what you need is to be inspired?
My dear friend you need to look inside yourself and see that you belong,
nothing you've done is wrong,
and finally just keep moving along
