The universe formed a

halo

around her head.

Every cell refined,

exquisite from

gossamer golden

strands of hair,

to the tips of her saintly toes.

Men took their hats off,

bowed-

ladies did wait.

And along with the royalties,

she now led;

The earth, sun, moon-

in a meticulous harmony.
The thing about loving you
Is that I don't love all of you.
I don't love:
-Your arrogance
-How you push me away to look cool
-The way you get away with everything
-The look in your eyes that almost shows me your heart.

But here's the other thing about loving you,
Everyday I love something about you that I used to hate.
I love:
-Your passion
-How you make fun of the things I used to be so insecure about
-The way you'd do anything for what you love.
-The look in your eyes that almost shows me your heart.

So I guess that makes the score for the day:

You: 1
Me: 0

And eventually, I guess, the score will be:

You: All of me
Me: All of you
I know I have to be patient,
Because once I get it
I’ll see it a thousand times

-A fellow friend
savor the anticipation
you  picked me out of the stars
and wrapped me in your light
falling
like a meteor shower
broken to pieces

ignited from the inside out
this passion
kindling sensation of life
overflowing

and the impact of survival
ongoing
as waters graze the sky
the golden lip of the sun shine
swallowing the night

and as the moon rises
there is but a simple line
to travel

to the center of the universe
to the center of beginning
to the center of thought

the tectonic motion

colliding and shifting
in old fashion
with force
with volcanic eruption

and singular destruction
there is meaning
in the dark

extinction

extends no further
but ends
it all ends
it never ends
Your face shades a thought so welcome
In social networking sheets
That cross an elephant's mind.

Your smile stitched by genes
I ripped with my own teeth
The genuine stretching girth
Is all but ours.

We inhabit different worlds
Folding a path of certain progress,
A line to maturity.

What was it grandmother use to say
In her class and old ways
That we hold in every sentence
We speak in every thought.

How odd the dynasty fades
And family remains.
Words are my art.
hands.
illuminated by the
golden morning light.
these hands
have met many
very important
hands in this
short week.
hands that will
never
remember the
clasp
the firm shake
or the simultaneous
release.
they won't recall
the insignificance
of these tiny
young
hands.
but if anything,
these hands left
fingerprints
on a world
much bigger
than
their
own.
The waves are crashing around me.
So peaceful yet so strong.
I can see my whole life here,
Just floating by.

The water,my surfboard and me,
I don't want to surf
All I want is to sit here and think.

Think about 'what if?'
And 'maybe I should have done this'.
The horizon seems so far away,
The more you travel towards it
The further away it is.

I could say the same about life,
Sometimes the more you want something
The least likely you are to receive it.

There floats my past relationships
And the pain of loosing him.
The ocean is so calming and healing,
That I want to stay forever.
