i thought it was real

turns out it was just lip service
and those words are just like stained lips
that made a difference on the outside;
rose red and beautiful,
but will wear out anytime soon-

-just like your artificial enthusiasm,
pretending to enjoy the conversation,
just for a few days-

-but then never bothered to say hello again.
