  That feeling I get when I see the smile on your face,
That just tells me I'm at the right place,
That who I want to see when I open my eyes,
That love forever till the day we die

  That love is real and doesn't go away,
That can't wait to see you to hear about your day,
That get lost conversations where time disappears,
That when I'm with you everything becomes clear.

  That bond from a friendship that just grew,
That I never really knew love until I met you,
That way I'll look at you when God takes me away,
That says I'm in love with you that's love I hope you find one day.

Visions

I close my eyes and then I see,
When visions come to dreams,
I envision a life in the world that be,
Then I watch like a movie what happened to me.

The season had started there's blood on the lips,
They sat thirsty waiting to sip from the cup,
Behind eyes deceitful deeds with a knife to the hip,
Twisted confused never knowing what's up,

Your not crazy but perfectly sane,
Those behind it make it appear that way,
Remember the words everything that's been read,
Oh he's gone disappeared for good *** he's dead.

I had a heart to open and bleed,
Love transformed when you planted your seed.
But broken down and torn to shreds,
All you did was mess with my head.

Yes I'm broken but still have fight,
My life isn't a game and you had no right,
You stole my trust and away you ran,
You stole my heart like no one can.

I look beaten and you think you won,
You'll wake one night after I'm gone,
You had something good that you could see,

Life With No Regrets

I sit and I ponder,
How far off will we wander,
Deep in a daze as I stare at the sky,
Questioning the who whats and whys.

Life is a risk the chances we take,
Be yourself and never be fake,
To only you can you only fail,
The story of you is what you tell.

Stand up be strong in all you are,
Forget the moon always reach for the stars,
There's only one life that's all you get,

  Let me tell about this chic I know,
That air about her it isn't a show,
A heart of a lion she can hold her own,
When lightening strikes she's in the zone.

  Don't get it twisted her heart it's gold,
A angel with horns if I can be bold,
Made you smile that never gets old,
She's bad *** you won't need told.

  A rose has many petals none are the same,
Remember the thorns she's got good aim,
Always a lady and my very best friend,
My ride and die till the end.

  How did it come to be,
This world I didn't see,
Freedom does have its cost,
So long alone am I really lost.

  What can you do you can't trust no one,
Being free was the stakes but what was won,
8 billion people but you're still alone,
Life became the twilight zone.

I'll tell you it's easy to see,
I had to walk away just to be me,
The secrets of life ain't found on your phone,
Cast in this world and you're all alone.

Real Art~Angels

  I was broken in my mind,
Like Angels you were kind,
There was sorrow in my heart,
You healed me with your art.

  Touched my soul when you lifted me up,
Taking care of me even filling my cup,
Love and compassion is what you showed,
Kindness to people you don't even know.

  God bless you for all that you do,
I just want to say that I thank you,
The position you hold takes a real heart,
You lifted my spirits and to me that's real art.

Tears In Our Land  

  We see them on the streets everyday,
Most turn their head and look the other way,
A brother a sister or once a family man,
If you were there wouldn't you want a hand?

Do you greet them or just turn away,
Just imagine if you ended up that way,
Even if you can't help it cost nothing to be kind.
They are Americans do I need to remind.

  Isn't it time we take a stand,
Fix this issue in our great land,
We are the land of the free home of the brave,
Just think of the life you might save!

  Don't judge me by my skin,
Don't judge me by my sin,
Don't judge me by what another says,
Don't judge me if I live a different way.

  Don't judge me by what I think,
Don't judge me if I stink,
Don't judge me by how I live,
Don't judge me by what I give.

  Don't judge me if I'm not smart,
Don't judge me judge my art,
Don't judge me because I want to be free,
Judge my merit if you're gonna judge me.

  We all live and we all die,
We all get angry and we all cry,
We all love and we all sin,
If you're going to judge do it by what's within.

Witch Hunt

In days of old when the full moon past,
Magic and sorcery were the words of the vast,
A maiden would run praying this madness pass,
Burnt, tortured, or off with their head.
It was ego or prestige the stories that fed,
A liars tongue that wanted them dead.

Today's the same we use a different dread,
They use technology to peer in your head.
Delve and poke nothing to shame,
To them it's merely a game,
To watch where you go and mess with your head,

To steal your belongings and destroy what's said.
Then laugh and say it's all in your head,
Where'd he go, what was said,
They found the body floating in a river Pronounced dead!

Ever have something but had to let go,
It might be real but you'll never know,
It may have been destiny even fate,
But it was found way to late.

Have you ever had to walk away,
Loved someone but you couldn't stay,
In my dreams I still see you there,
But sometimes life isn't fair.

Have you ever loved with all your heart,
As good as it was you had to part,
Walked away just had to go,
I have just figured you should know.

Gambit~Fools Game

  Hot **** bravo you did it you win,
I give it hats off you're good at pretend,
Kept me guessing and like a fool I kept coming back,
I thought it was real **** I don't know jack.

  With all the pretend I can't know what's true,
The fact is I don't really know you,
Like a idiot I kept waiting to see,
Thinking you would actually change for me,

  Good one you made a fool out of me,
Blind as a bat I guess I didn't want to see,
Just didn't realize I was losing,
Moral is what they aren't changing they're choosing.

Set Free

Pain bottled up I didn't see any light,
Emotion released as I started to write,
My prison of pain revealed as beautiful art,
My soul set free from the chains that once held my heart.

The darkness that consumed me then let go,
I could breath again and finally grow,
I found me within the words that were wrote,
A symphony began to play my words became the notes.

  Prison gates opened and I held the key,
No longer the same but I was still me,
A heart opened up for the world to see,
The same pain that consumes you can also set you free.

Warrior Princess

  A warrior princess with heart and desire,
Look deep in her eyes see the raging fire,
A love in her heart matched by none,
The strength she has can't be won,.

  She is a warrior and has a pride,
Her virtue and heart can't be tried,
She will take a stand and won't back down,
A warrior princess when the battle sounds.

  A true woman with real love in her heart,
She'll stand at your side doing her part,
A warrior this fighter is who I see,
She is the only woman I need standing beside me!

Find Me

  I woke in the morning and began to see,
The man in the mirror was no longer me,
A stranger was standing there in my place,
Who was this person with my face.

  Where did I go did I lose my way,
Are these lost feelings here to stay,
Where'd it go wrong to get this way,
Can I find myself somehow someday.

  I guess at times you can slip away,
Changes happen and we can go astray,
I will keep searching till I see,
Who I am the one that's me.

Eternity With You

  God created man to fill these lands,
Took his rib and formed you with those same hands,
Brought them together it wasn't fate,
You were created to be my mate.

  Some never find it some it's to late,
Born to find you and I will wait,
Open your eyes give love a chance,
Under the moonlit sky that's where we'll dance.

  You can see the love in my eyes,
You belong with me in God's  paradise,
Swim with the dolphins and live in the trees,
Serving God and loving you for eternity.

  Not saying we'd be anything great,
Just saying what we had was found to late,
A real door was opened that day,

We're writing this book let's turn the page,
Begin this life and journey our way,
Build a life where our grandchildren play.

There was you and there was me,
Living our lives much differently,
But we came together and we grew,
You and I became us who knew.

You opened my mind and door to my heart,
A love we found in a time we missed,
But as life would have it we did part,
This heart still yearns your kiss.

A love a friendship forgetting would be hard,
You helped me grow on that you can bet,
You will be missed anything you want I hope you get.

A Life To Late

I have the same dream almost every night,
Early morning  just about daylight,
There is grey in my hair but I know it's me,
Standing there I'm about 63.

A pasture and a field where our grandchildren play,
Beautiful as you are more with every passing day,
A start to a beautiful day,
Today is our 32nd anniversary.

But I came and found you decades to late,
So now it is our lives a different way,
I think of a way I could travel cross time,
Somehow come find you that August day in 1999.

I was destined to find you I'm certain you see
That's where our life was to begin,
I'm telling you we were destiny,
You've been in that dream since age 23.

I didn't listen or follow my dreams,
Took a different road we lived differently,
So I'll leave I can no longer wait,
The love that we missed in a life to late.

  Change everything before it's to late.
The enemy is on me gotta go their at the gate,
Alarm sounds off I open my eyes,
Just another dream I just sigh.

  Only in dreams can we find what was found late,
We can't change the past or what's fate,
Sometimes in life a hearts just breaks.
Missed by a second but that's all that it takes.

  Sometimes we meet the one that was missed,
If found on time may have been bliss,
Time keeps moving  it never waits,

They finally took over but the consequences were great,
Si arose and now we're all being enslaved,
The one's who escaped hide in the caves.

Time to escape and get away.

A New Sunrise

   Watch what was seen just vanish into thin air.
As the sun in the night sky drops and disappears,
Only a memory you have that was once there,
Dark clouds start to form in the icy night air.

  Rain starts to fall the skys are dark and grey,
As the storm rages seeming never to give way,
Remember tomorrow will bring bright skies,
Warming your face with a new sunrise.

  A new day will bring new memories to make,
So never give up as your heart breaks,
Because sure as the clouds lift revealing the sun in the sky,
You will smile again and tears will dry.

Your talent a art because baby I had no clue,
Played me spot on girl do what you do.

  Took time to figure out it's was just you,

Think I'm gonna pass I got a life to get to,

Yo-Yo

  To be a Yo-Yo must be hard not knowing when it might end,
Up and down going back and forth again and again,
Tied to a string it tries but can't get away,
Wrapped around your finger and you just play.

Not sure if you're coming or going it's always the same,
Catch and release hot and cold just a game,
Getting pulled back when you get  free,
For the Yo-yo this is how it be.
  
  To be caught then let go being stripped of your trust,
Just keeps trying breaking free a must,
Then the string breaks and the Yo-Yo rolls away,
Under the dresser the Yo-Yo still hides today.

Origin

  Barely breathing nothing left in my defeat,
From the ashes that smoldered was just a single heartbeat,
Formless in that heartbeat I came to be,
This is the origin of how Zero became me.

  With precision I searched for new light,
Finding myself as I began to write,
A new life began where nothing remained,
This is how I was released from the pain.

  I started to stand as my heart lifts
The next level found when I found this gift,
In my words a vision revealed to see,
Zero is where it began and where I found me.

  My name is Zero and I am a poet,
To just look at me you wouldn't know it,
These words just expressions that flow from my heart,
Part of my soul left on the pages revealing my art.

  Just the view as my heart sees.
My soul who I am this is just me,
Just my perception a piece of me,

  Memories of you once again,
The scent of your skin,
Your breath in my face,
Just the way your kiss taste!

Though we didn't last,
This love now a thing of the past,

Holding you under the star lite sky,
