  That feeling I get when I see the smile on your face,
That just tells me I'm at the right place,
That who I want to see when I open my eyes,

  That bond from a friendship that just grew,

I close my eyes and then I see,
When visions come to dreams,
I envision a life in the world that be,
Then I watch like a movie what happened to me.

The season had started there's blood on the lips,
They sat thirsty waiting to sip from the cup,
Behind eyes deceitful deeds with a knife to the hip,
Twisted confused never knowing what's up,

I sit and I ponder,

Stand up be strong in all you are,
Forget the moon always reach for the stars,
There's only one life that's all you get,

  A rose has many petals none are the same,

This world I didn't see,
Freedom does have its cost,
So long alone am I really lost.

Being free was the stakes but what was won,
8 billion people but you're still alone,
Life became the twilight zone.

I had to walk away just to be me,
The secrets of life ain't found on your phone,
