Find Me

  I woke in the morning and began to see,
The man in the mirror was no longer me,
A stranger was standing there in my place,
Who was this person with my face.

  Where did I go did I lose my way,
Are these lost feelings here to stay,
Where'd it go wrong to get this way,
Can I find myself somehow someday.

  I guess at times you can slip away,
Changes happen and we can go astray,
I will keep searching till I see,
Who I am the one that's me.

Eternity With You

  God created man to fill these lands,
Took his rib and formed you with those same hands,
Brought them together it wasn't fate,
You were created to be my mate.

  Some never find it some it's to late,
Born to find you and I will wait,
Open your eyes give love a chance,
Under the moonlit sky that's where we'll dance.

  You can see the love in my eyes,
You belong with me in God's  paradise,
Swim with the dolphins and live in the trees,
Serving God and loving you for eternity.

I Love You

  Not saying we'd be anything great,
Just saying what we had was found to late,
A real door was opened that day,
Take my hand I'll show you the way.

  Not often found this day and age,
We're writing this book let's turn the page,
Begin this life and journey our way,
Build a life where our grandchildren play.

  You know what I'm saying you know it's true,
You can say you don't but I know that you do,
Deny your feelings and I'll walk away.

  I know you're thinking I gotta be crazy,
Here I come and I got another daisy,
Keep thinking my head's just not right,
Tell you true I see a different light.

  It's just something about your way,
All bets are off when you come I'll say,
But you're here now and I want to play,
Your smile says you hear what I say.

  It's been a while since I last saw your face,
You have a way and I don't want to chase,
Guess the next move is up to you,
Bet I got you thinking I told you that's what I do.

Who Knew

There was you and there was me,
Living our lives much differently,
But we came together and we grew,
You and I became us who knew.

You opened my mind and door to my heart,
A love we found in a time we missed,
But as life would have it we did part,
This heart still yearns your kiss.

Hope that you're good my best regards,
A love a friendship forgetting would be hard,
You helped me grow on that you can bet,
You will be missed anything you want I hope you get.

A Life To Late

I have the same dream almost every night,
Early morning  just about daylight,
There is grey in my hair but I know it's me,
Standing there I'm about 63.

A pasture and a field where our grandchildren play,
Beautiful as you are more with every passing day,
A start to a beautiful day,
Today is our 32nd anniversary.

But I came and found you decades to late,
So now it is our lives a different way,
I think of a way I could travel cross time,
Somehow come find you that August day in 1999.

I was destined to find you I'm certain you see
That's where our life was to begin,
I'm telling you we were destiny,
You've been in that dream since age 23.

I didn't listen or follow my dreams,
Took a different road we lived differently,
So I'll leave I can no longer wait,
The love that we missed in a life to late.

Twist Of Fate Pt 2(Dreams)

  Change everything before it's to late.
The enemy is on me gotta go their at the gate,
Alarm sounds off I open my eyes,
Just another dream I just sigh.

  Only in dreams can we find what was found late,
We can't change the past or what's fate,
Sometimes in life a hearts just breaks.
Missed by a second but that's all that it takes.

  Sometimes we meet the one that was missed,
If found on time may have been bliss,
Time keeps moving  it never waits,
Is it just life or a twist of fate.
