When you feel defeated, after how hard you’ve tried,
Or, when you feel withdrawn, and want to run away and hide.

The one where you make me feel happy and free.

Or when I’m cross at you from something you broke or spelt.

But when I remember that look in your eyes
I want to stop you, and reassure you, before you start to cry
Because I saw that you looked horrified/mortified.
When you’re looking back at me to see how I react
I calm myself down before I snap.

Knowing that I can’t stay mad for long

TRAUMA

True experiences that make a huge impact on your life.
Rather you would like to erase this memory completely.
Always haunting you in the back of your mind.
Underneath all this, the pain, you slowly pick up the pieces to try to
   start your life again.

Everything and everyone else disappear,
You make me feel alive,

My lips go dry,
and sometimes I forget to breath,

I do not want this moment to end,

It feels like there is a hidden secret,

You allow me to daydream of a new, beginning,

Silence does not seem to matter,

Please don’t, beat yourself up, and continue to, feel bad.
