When I look up, at the, sky
I find myself questioning, wondering why
All the days, are passing, me by
I take a breath, releasing a, huge sigh
Just like that, I start to, cry
Watching the waves crash, against the shore
Now my heart, isn’t heavy, and sore.

That look in your eyes
The one that makes me want to cry
That one that makes me want to try.

That look in your eyes
That look when, you’re mad
That look when, you’re sad.
That look when you’ve, done something bad
That look when, you’re happy/glad.

That look in your eyes
That makes me question you why
When I know that when you lied.
When you feel defeated, after how hard you’ve tried,
Or, when you feel withdrawn, and want to run away and hide.

That look in your eyes
That you gave to me,
The one where you make me feel happy and free.
When it’s just you, and me,
That look that, only I see.

That look in your eyes
That time when you make my heart melt
Or when I’m cross at you from something you broke or spelt.

But when I remember that look in your eyes
I want to stop you, and reassure you, before you start to cry
Because I saw that you looked horrified/mortified.
When you’re looking back at me to see how I react
I calm myself down before I snap.

That look in your eyes
Knowing that I can’t stay mad for long
From all those/these times where something happened/ went wrong.
I just turn back to you,
And just like that, my feelings no longer brew.
And when I see that look in your eyes again
I forgive you, and we make amends.

-All this just from that look in your eyes.
