Someone like you
To have always, by my side,
Where I can be, my full self, and not have, to hide.
The little things, that people, tend to pick on,
For me, those things don’t matter, if their right, or wrong.

I am but, his/she’s not.

You are but, they aren’t,
They are but, you are not.

For me, but, not for you,
For you but, not for me.

For them but, they declined,
For they are in, but not for them.

When does time align?
For the date, to work out fine.

How close in time, to book, an event, that all can attend,
Then to work out how early to send…

For him/her, me, you, them, and they, to be free together, in all the, same day,
When that time works, one can only raise their hands and yell out a hip, hip hooray!!

I am still the same
I/we know that this is a Pandemic, a very serious virus that the world is at crisis and won’t be/isn’t a game.

How have I/we changed?
You knew me/us before
This virus now has divided us and left my/our heart(s) feeling sore.

How have I/we changed?
I/you are/am still following the rules and taking my/our own precautions to prevent from catching it,
I/we only wish…
That you would also see,
How this time too has been affecting me/us.

How have I/we changed?
Everyone has their own opinion, and this is fine
Lockdown has gone on too long, and taken away, from us, too much time.

But honestly, how have I/we changed?
You knew me/us before
Why are your feelings of me/us now any less?
I/we am also doing, everything that I/we can still, not to get it and going for regular tests.

How have I/we changed?
I/we too don’t want to pass this virus on
Why is it so wrong?
If I disagree,
I/we just want another alternative than this option, to help us all, become free.
How have I changed?
Even though it’s scary, I/we would want to, support you, either way,
Each day, I/we hope that I/you also don’t catch this, and silently, for this I/we prey.

I/we am left confused…
I/we am still cautious in everything that I do.
And I/we defiantly wouldn’t want to give/pass anything on to you.
