But then, you left me, and changed, my world.
You, promised me, you will, keep me, safe from harm,
But you were, the one who ended up, harming me, by your, broken words.

You promised me, that you, will/would always, be there for me,
But then, you walked away, from us.
You promised me, things would be better this time,
But it didn’t last.

Tables have turned
Once, I was ahead of time,
Things seemed, to be going, fine.
I was, in a good place. and ready,
Things were, going for the most part, quite steady.

Then, the tables turned
Suddenly, a change of events,
And, my whole life, was sent,
Packing, in a different direction,
My ‘life plan’, was a completely different adjusted correction.

Oh, those tables. have turned
I had been, two steps behind,
And, had to start my life again and find…
A new way, and path, for me,
Whilst watching, everyone, ‘move on’, with their forward journey, I now just let it be.

How, those tables, have turned!
Who knows, why those tables, have turned,
And,
Turned, when it did.
But boy! they did,
Turn, those tables,
For me.

We all wish to find,
That special someone,
To have/create (new) experiences,
To make good memories.

You, look forward,
To, spending that, time,
With, each other,
When, you’re together,
You will, just know,
It, will happen, for you,
Someday soon.
You hope…
You are hopeful,
That, it will,
That time, with someone.

At the moment,
It’s just you,
Alone…
You’re content,
Being on your own.
You find yourself,
Keeping (yourself) busy,
Filling in time,
Socializing, with your friends,
You, go out, and about.

You, know that you are strong,
And enjoy being independent,
Doing/do what you love,
Meeting/meet new people,
Realizing you are,
Enjoying yourself.
You are,
Sitting/standing there,
In a crowded pace.

Suddenly.
Without any warning.
A feeling washes over you.
Everyone gets/feels this.
At, some point of.
Loneliness…
You, feel, that feeling of,
Whilst, you are, watching,
You find, yourself,
Taking, it all in,
In that moment,
You continue,
As, you are now,
Walking your path.

You, are happy,
Because you, know that,
You’re fine/okay.
You, then, shake that, feeling off,
Just, for that, few moments,
Just you, on your own,
Only, you.

You, know, that feeling,
Of, momentariness,
Loneliness.
However,
At times…
You feel,
Alone…
You feel,
Even, with having, people around, you,
You feel, it’s just, you.
You are, seeking something, more.
You, feel that,
No one, else sees, you,
How you really are,
The you, you know,
That you, that you, want to be,
In this/that moment,
Thinking of…

You continue to sit there,
Whilst you, are still,
Watching everyone,
Until, that feeling, passes over you.
Patiently,
Waiting,
and/you think, to yourself,
what, makes you, happy?
You, keep thinking, to yourself…
And, as you, sit there,
You, are content,
With, how you are now.
You, love it,
In, your own, skin,
You are, comfortable,
And remind yourself that,
are you!
You,
Remind yourself that,
You.

You.
That you’re
By yourself.
Alone…
That you’re
Sometimes/on occasions
You have that feeling, of loneliness.
