LOSS OF A PARENT/LOVED ONE

When you have a loss like no other,
By this I mean your dad or mother.
Your support network opens, their arms to you,
And sends you all their love and condolences too.

This is a hard hit to take,
So, in life you then try to make.
A new turn in your journey to come,
And spend more time with those you love, that won’t/don’t take you for a run.

You may even, withdraw for a while,
And no longer, find a reason to smile.
Your heart, is left feeling, continuously empty,
You block out, those emotions, even though, you have/feel plenty.

You don’t want to see or do anything,
And your heart will, for a long time, continue to sting.
You try to keep your mind distracted,
And try to stop your emotions, that are, being sensitively reacted.

Or does, this need, a correction?

Is this the right thing to do?
Just follow your dreams, and they may just come true.

The feeling, of being lost,
Has come through, to stay,
No one, will feel it, but you,
Keep going on, with what you, want to do.

More than I can describe,

My feelings for you, I cannot seem to hide.

What must I say?
For you to stay.

Will be just a s good, or even more so, fine.

It was, definitely, nice to have met you,
And I enjoyed, all the things that we did do.
Slowly, I will like you less,
In this, I will confess.

Apart of you, will always stay,
For how short, our time was, that we had,
-before you left/and decided to depart, in your way.

Such an amazing moment(s).
