The mind,sometimes
   waits, many a day.
To tell the pen,
    what to say.

Leaving the forest in an enlightened mood,

A hemlock root did intrude.

Sending me crashing upon my knee.

And the crow flew away mocking me.

I WISH I COULD WRITE A POEM, SO PROFOUND SO CLEVER,

THAT KNOWING SAGES, WOULD QUOTE IT FOR AGES,

AND MY NAME WOULD LIVE ON FOREVER.

Dreams, swirl around, like leaves in a breeze.
                        Life, is the ones, we seize.

I WANT TO SPEND CHRISTMAS AT MICKEY'S HOUSE THIS YEAR.

I WANT TO STROLL DOWN MAIN STREET, EATING A CHOCOLATE EAR.

I WANT TO RIDE ON DUMBO, CLIMB IN ROBINSON'S TREE.

I WANT TO SPEND CHRISTMAS AT MICKEY'S HOUSE WON'T SOMEONE PLEASE TAKE ME.

IF I MUST SPEND MY HOLIDAY IN THE MOUNTAINS, PLEASE MAKE IT SPACE OR SPLASH.

I'LL HOLD MY ARMS ABOVE MY HEAD, AND SMILE FOR THE CAMERAS FLASH.

I'LL SEARCH FOR HIDDEN MICKEY'S WHILE I STAND IN LINE.

OH' WHEN IS THE THREE O'CLOCK PARADE, I MUST BE THERE ON TIME.

I WANT TO SPEND CHRISTMAS AT MICKEY'S HOUSE THIS YEAR.

I WANT TO STROLL DOWN MAIN STREET EATING A CHOCOLATE EAR.

I WANT TO RIDE IN A TEACUP, DID THOSE PIRATE'S GET THAT KEY?

IF I GO ON A CRUISE, IN THE FRIENDLY JUNGLE, LET IT BE,

AND LATER HAVE A PALE GREEN GHOST, SITTING NEXT TO ME.

I WANT TO SPEND CHRISTMAS WITH THE PRESIDENTS IN THEIR HALL,

AND MY FAVORITE FRIENDS, MICKEY, GOOFY, DONALD, AND THEM ALL.

I WANT TO SPEND CHRISTMAS AT MICKEY'S HOUSE THIS YEAR.

I WANT TO STROLL DOWN MAIN STREET EATING A CHOCOLATE EAR.

I WANT TO RIDE A SPORTS CAR, LISTEN TO A STORM IN THE OLD TIKI.

I WANT TO SPEND CHRISTMAS AT MICKEY'S HOUSE THIS YEAR, WON'T SOMEONE PLEASE PLEASE TAKE ME!!

IF NO ONE WILL TAKE ME, I'LL HIDE IN SANTA'S SLEIGH.

HE'S ALWAYS IN THE CHRISTMAS PARADE, SO HE MUST BE ON HIS WAY.

I KNOW I WILL GET THERE, IF I HAVE TO RUN, WALK, OR CRAWL.

I WILL PROVE TO EVERYONE, IT'S A SMALL WORLD AFTER ALL.

Another day
      has slipped away,
and in that time,
      the choice was mine.
To make the world, more bright.
      doing what, I know is right.
Did I cause, someone to smile,
      did I go that extra mile.
Was I quick to lend a hand,
       was I forgiving of my fellow man.
If I failed yesterday,
       may I succeed, if I get "another day."

When the essence of two join as one,
            A new life has begun.

Take the language of humanity,
    Choose the words that Sing, to Thee.
Arrange with the precision of universal time.
   Write them down in perfect composition, and rhyme.
Leave us mortals, one and all,
    Envious, and filled with awe.
                 Speak to me,
                         Speak to me
                                    In poetry.

We can only write,
    what's in "our" Mind.
Yet, still take pleasure,
    in what "others", Find.

Unfortunately "Cs" look like an "A",
after the "Fs" have their say.

From a distance, the heart knew,
   I was her guy.
Up close, the heart beating,
   made me, to shy.
Looking back, the heart
    regretted,
  I walked by.

I sleep the nights away, for in my Dreams you still appear.
I weep the days away, for in my Life you're no longer here.

I hope there will be a future, "while"

Where the pain will ease,

and I remember your smile.

A robot, solving a Rubix cube
   in less than a second, gives
     a sense of future dread.

Yet, I think, I will really worry,
   when it chooses, too change,
      the colored circles instead.

I Will,
Using only ordinary words, arranged just right.
slip through your eyes, and sense of sight.
Enter your imagination, with what I write.

TO THE COSMIC SEEKERS, AND PIOUS WITH NO DOUBT,
MAYBE THE ANSWER, OUR BRAIN NOT DESIGNED TO FIGURE IT OUT.
COLLECTIVELY WHAT OUR BRAINS HAVE ACCOMPLISHED NO LESS THAN MYTHIC.
WHAT THEY CAN DREAM, MAY DWELL ONLY IN THE REALM OF THE MYSTIC.

What's done,
          been done.
              What happened,
                         has happened
                               What you do,

Awewelletry \'o\'wel\e-tre (n) 1a. When you really have nothing to say, but write down something anyway. : I wanted to write some great poetry, but just came up with this  awewelletry.

It seems lately, I push the pause button all the time,
Realizing it's the rewind, I really need to find.

I awaken in the dark of night,
     To a stark and chilling sight.
         11:34 reflecting the alarms red light.

One thing this country, needs to do, is flush our Number "2"

I'm just a man,
       trying to understand,
                     If there is a plan,
                           mortals, can understand.

In "these days" I consider
it luck, if the the movie
I stream doesn't use F-word.

In the "good old days"
I'd get a back hand hit,
if I ever said S-word.

My grandma, would give a,
Biblical slam, if I muttered,
D-word.

Someone's fetching a switch.
if I called, my sister a B-word

Yet in the "old days" I
do recall my black
friend, braying like a
donkey, calling me H-word,
and we would snicker, when
I called him N-word.

It seems my pen, for ink, seems to lack.
       While experiencing a gravity attack.
              When trying, to write on my back.

Oh, the decisions of the heart.
       To live without your voice,
                 or let it tear me apart.

As I see it, the would
       be poets
           prime mission.
To leave their
         take, on the
             human condition.
Like no two snowflakes,
          in light flurry, or
               blizzard, the same.
No two earth bound
           humans ever played,
                an identical game.
Giving to the future
            our feelings
                 from the past.
Seems a most
             noble, present
                   day task.

What I've done in the past,
    Is History.
What I do in the future
     A Mystery.
What I do in the present,
     So important for me.

If You want to be content in Life.....Do.
  Remember, the World, was Never, About You.

With the first breath,
         a Cry!
     With the last breath,
            a Sigh.
         With all in between,
                  a Why?

One thing, it seems human nature can't abide,
    Believing, it could be on the wrong side.

Hurried
   Blurried,
     Wide
        Eyed,
          Attraction
            Action,
              Ending
                Sending,
                  Bedding
                    Shedding.

HERE I SET A LITTLE PERTURBED,
MY POEM FINISHED, EXCEPT FOR
THE FINAL WORD.
SO I LOOK INWARD, SEARCHING AROUND,
KICKING UP ADJECTIVES, ADVERBS, AND THE OCCASIONAL NOUN.
THERE IT IS, IT LOOKS JUST RIGHT,
SO I GRAB IT, AND TO MY PAPER I WRITE.
YES I THINK, I'VE FOUND IT THIS TIME,
BUT NO MATTER HOW I TRY, IT JUST DOESN'T RHYME.
ALARMED, I'M GETTING NEAR THE BOTTOM OF MY LIST.
COULD IT BE THE FINAL WORD, JUST DOESN'T EXIST?
FEELING LOST FOR THE WORD,BEGINNING TO DESPAIR.
THEN OUT OF NOWHERE, IT'S JUST THERE!
FINALLY OVER, WRITTEN AND PENNED.
AFTER FINDING THAT FINAL WORD THE "END".

Have you faced the
  soul crushing reality,
of a time you will no
  longer be.
What the memories
  those left behind
   will see?

THE ETERNAL MIST WHISPERS TO OUR MIND HOW IT WILL BE,

THE RAGING STORM FILLS OUR MIND WITH THAT WE WANT TO SEE.

As your yesterday's continue to pile,
   may most, be remembered with a smile.

US'INS KNOW IT,
IF IT DON'T RHYME,
YOU AIN'T NO POET

Though I'm gone, I couldn't stay.
You can bring me back any day,
Meet me in your mind, and
we can play.

I remember with a sigh,
     those days, gone by.
When someone told
      a lie,
the teller, we would
       decry.

A wish, to all, "I Pray",
   May your, "Turkey Day",
     be the best in, "Every Way".
       and the scales, "Display"
           how little, "We Weigh".

The poem that you write, that's such a delight,
         in the middle of the night,
             Seems, to lite, and so less bright,
                             in the daylight.

A honest belief,
  Can bring relief,
    While causing
       grief.
        May effects,
         be brief.

I'm sure my little poems,
  have no chance of getting
    anything "Done".
In a World of "Seven"
   thousand languages
       I know "One".

I Cheer,
     For less Fear,
           In the coming Year.

New Coaster,
     Big Boaster.
   A Dare,
        They Share.
      Up Creak,
           Over Peak.
         Loud Scream,
               A Stream.
             New Pair,
                  Underwear.

So, you want to know,
the difference of
   finite, and infinite
         "Son?"
Conger up the
  largest number
    You can, then add,
            "1"
Repeat till you're
          "Done."

Do you remember, the "BEST"
     Poem you ever Read,
the one that, to your love
     of Poetry, it led?
Did it set you upon your quest,
     to write a Poem to pass the test,
       of being someone else's,
            "BEST"?

AN AWKWARD FIRST KISS, UNDER THE PORCH LIGHT,
THE COMEBACK KISS, REMEMBERED ALL NIGHT.

I think That I shall never see,
               a book of poetry,
                     That didn't **** a tree.
