Dreams, swirl around, like leaves in a breeze.
Life, is the ones, we seize.
When the suns rays
Once again, warms our days
Whilst birdsong greets the early hours
Silken dew on cobwebs, and flowering flowers
Lovers love, and dreamers dream
As eyes sparkle, like a glistening stream
I shall meet someone, fair of face
And we shall share, true loves embrace

From where i'm now sat
Within my balconied flat
I espy just beyond my windowsill
The ruins of the castle, on the hill
Rooftops below, are now coated in white
From the extra snowfall, overnight
Where the snow has fallen, for hundreds of years
The silence lies heavy, like frozen tears
Pirouetting snowflakes, natures ballet, Arabesque
A snow filled sky, a wonderland, so picturesque
Still the castle ruins, look down from the hill
That once had life, but now lies still
Where once kings, and queens, allegedly presided
Over which dragons daringly, and dangerously glided
Still the snow comes down, and decries
Like sheep's wool falling from the skies
White, and pure, and beautiful, and free
A frozen horizon, as far as the eyes can see
But soon, the snow will eventually melt
And the land will soften, and turn to felt
The skies will turn an azure blue, from a silvery grey
And the colours of Spring, will light up our day
With the butterflies, and bees, and birds in full song
The sun will grow warmer, and the days will be long
Yet i'll still remember the cool beauty, of the snow filled skies
With a myriad of memories, and dreams in my eyes

Humanity began to grieve
Over a man, that couldn't breathe
That this reflected, an unbalanced inhumanity
As the world witnessed, a toxic insanity
As a cold, and callous individual
An audience recorded, their nightmarish vigil
They witnessed the actions, of this one man
That had oft been repeated, by others of his clan
All the rotten apples, that fell from this same tree
We're joined together, in a harsh brutality
Surely humanity, can be better than this
And love our diversity, a long time amiss
We all bleed red, and breathe the same air
As the majority of us know how to love, and know how to care
Black life's matter, as all life's should
If humanity is to advance, for the greater good
"The only thing necessary, for the triumph of evil,
Is for good men (and women) to do nothing"
Today, 20th April 2021, something good was done
And for a change, justice, and the truth won
But i have a horrible feeling, that i feel
That this convicted murderer, will shortly appeal...

COME! Fairies, Pixies, Mermaids, Dragons
Come fly into my room
Come Witches, and beloved cats
Come, come park your dusty broom

Come, keep me company
And help relieve my malaise
Come, bring some song, and laughter
As ive been sad for the last few days

Come Fairies, and dance your dance
Whilst Mermaids pirouette above the spray
Come Dragons, breathe your firey breathe
And burn my doubts away

Come, one, and all
And weave your wonders wild
Come, fill my mind
And release my inner child

Despite this being the place of my birth
I'm not to keen on planet Earth
That's my opinion, for what it's worth

When lies become truths, and truths become lies
And reality becomes a thing, often denied
That's my opinion, behind which i cannot hide

Behind the mayhem, and ******, and pillage, and ****
Existence on Earth, is like a sour grape
That's my opinion, there is no escape

Countries where LGBT people and more
Face death penalties and prison, what for?
That's my opinion, careful where you tour

The same countries, where a blind eye is turned
Of wife beaters, and paedophiles, nothing is learned
That's my opinion, my stomach is churned

And despite a climate crisis all around
The political deafness and ignorance, is quite profound
That's my opinion, a level of stupidity to astound

At the end of the day, not being funny
But much of it is about brutality, and lust for money
That's my opinion, life is like bees without the honey

And prejudices towards colours, and creeds, and race
Or simply towards the look on your face
That's my opinion, we all bleed red
Just watched a documentary
About the 1980's threat of nuclear war
Of the valliant women of Greenham Common
I remember the fear, when i was aged 24

I remember this fear so easily
As i remembered the same in the 1960's as well
I remembered also, images of Hiroshima, and Nagazaki
I remembered nightmares aged 10 of hell

I remember the fear, of mutually assured destruction
I believed it could happen at any time
As ive witnessed the actions of men in power
That seem to think genocide, isn't a crime

And as they push their 'starting' buttons
And watch their exploding penises fly high
Seemingly switched off, from all reality
As death, like rain, falls from the sky

It's funny how mushrooms grow
Kept in the dark, and fed will *******
The nuclear pox is contagious
There are no vaccinations for it
