Contributed the most to humanity
Suffering a great deal with dignity

If a poor-fellow, on the other hand

A Buddhist, Jew, Muslim or Christian
Or member of any other religion

Really thinks going to the same heaven
With the above ladies and gentlemen
By just breathing day in and day out
And thinking it’s enough to be devout

He either got the wrong impression
Or have a problem with discretion
Or else he must be thinking that
Judgment of God is fairly bad

I think there is a way out of this
Find what your true mission is
I know it’s neither money nor chair
A hint: Help, teach, devote and share

Complete it with sincerity
Caress your soul with integrity
Afterwards, even if there is no God
Trust me, you’ll still be on the safe side

They might at least put your name on
A suchlike poem written by someone
Otherwise you’re just a passerby
Producing nitrogen for both soil and sky

YOU ALL ARE LIARS
labyrinth Apr 2021
You all are liars!
Admit it already
So we can all go home
Some of you will lie unintentionally
But, some of you are barefaced liars
Some of you won’t even remember the reason
Down with this ordeal!
Yes, you all are liars!
There, I said it again
This time for the record
Some of you will lie for money
Some of you will lie for chair
Some of you will lie for social approval
Some of you will lie out of obedience
Some of you will lie for love
Some of you will lie to betray
Some of you will lie for a tender bid
Or talk soldiers into dying during the day
Some of you are natural born ***-kissers anyways
Some of you will lie in the name of religion
And some of you will lie as a matter of course
Like all politicians, most lawyers
Or some doctors for instance
The most innocent of you will lie to the self
In the end, you all are liars!
Unless you have a problem with that
Admit it already. Come on!
I just want to go home
I’ll have some pasta, I’m hungry
Maybe a couple of beers too
And then get some sleep

DELIBERATE BLIND
labyrinth Apr 2021
There are poor people out there, around us
On the sidewalk, next door or in a public bus
One might think we breathe the same air
I know for a fact that the heavier is theirs
Then there is the homeless
Carrying the sense of homelessness
Anywhere they go, in every single realm
During the day, at night. And, that is all the time
There are beggars as well
Some are not that innocent, I can tell
But it won’t make any difference
Unjust is unjust, by inference
By a nasty grenade or evil-minded shrapnel
There are literally millions of wounded people
For good reasons though, as they were told
Some stories right there for grandchildren to unfold
You know? Babies, small kids die of hunger
I don’t think death can get one any younger
You know? Babies, small kids die of hunger
I don’t think death can get one any younger
Even the world seems to ignore it, or openly declines
I still felt like repeating those two lines
We share the century ******* it, with all of them
A century that I unashamedly condemn
Without even thinking any of this
We get up everyday in our own abyss
Any solution to that? We can’t seem to find
Other than playing both deaf and blind

Stray Dog
labyrinth Feb 2021
I’ve been taking care of a stray-dog lately
She has a lovely face, hiding her insecurity
I named her Mocha. Her color is brown
Mostly tame, little timid, sort of down
She knows how to keep her distance
I never patted her for instance
Her both ears are cut. I have no clue, why
I feed her twice a day with some supply
She disappears to unknown places most times
Except for three times, where she’s precise
10:00 am, 5:00 pm, around midnight
The last being start time for my plight
She sleeps on the mat by the front door
Started doing that with the first snow
I, by the way, thought she was sterilized
Most of the stray dogs in Istanbul are
Well, it turns out she was not
The hardest way I had to figure that out
And, it is that time of the year … Well. You know!!!
I’ve been seeing at least 5 visitors per night. Oh no!
She’s been making-out / Ridiculously devout
So to say, functioning with what’s endowed
I’ve bumped into 6 males at once the other night
As if she’s doing this to us out of spite
Transforming our garden, this cute, little ****
First Red-Light District, now a ******* plot
My 13 yrs. old girl started asking me about these routines
The reason why I particularly do not appreciate the scenes
My dog being born from a suchlike mother
With her 12 dissimilar sisters and brothers
Even if at some point I will interfere
I totally respect what's going on here
That though still leaves me with two unsolved problems
One concerns morality, another logistics. Both are solemn
What the hell am I gonna tell my discombobulated neighboring
Where the hell am I gonna host my new grandchildren

I’m a paranoiac, who needs a shrink
Still. I gotta say what I gotta say
And I gotta say it as of today
It’s like you lose interest when it’s true!
You simply don’t get it, do you?
It’s all out there. All precooked
As long as they keep you hooked
With any, I mean any kind of screen
You are just adorably sleeping
Let it be a computer or a TV set
A smart-phone or maybe a tablet
Under attack, while they’re safe
This must be the heaviest strafe
Screens are good. **** all the books
It is the one thing they will not brook
Now they’re coming after your kids
And you voluntarily pay for all this
An eleven years old with a smart-phone?
What is it, really? Are you ******?
We make them build keyboard skills
Before they even build characters
Isn’t it about time for you to wake,
And see already what is at stake?
You’ve gotta pull yourself together. HEY!
