My morning starts with greatest conversation with you on the phone for now. People say that breakfast is the best way to start off the day. I say telling you I love you and hearing about your night. I know one day it will be the kisses I wake you up with then breakfast. Ill already will know about your night because it will have involved me. Then I'll make you some French toast and serve it to you in bed. After I kiss the syrup from your lips, I'll take the dishes and wash them as you rest and start your morning rituals. After you get out of bed, we will go on our morning walk hand in hand, enjoying all that the Father has provided for us. Some days we'll go on unsuspected journeys to discover all that this life has to offer. We will discuss our hopes for our cabin and all that it will offer. We'll watch the sunrise from coast to coast or from mountain tops to peaks. I'll have what I most desire in life a companion who loves me and I love her, spending life together forever.

My home is always with you. Filled with laughter, smiles, and joyful sounds. The conversations are always edifying. If the walls of our home, they would speak the beauty of our love. They would tell that my eyes are always set on you my beautiful love. The fragrance of our home would be filled with foods I enjoying cooking for us, oh the flavors of pumpkin spice or strawberry pie. No matter if the outer shell is a rental, a camper, or our forever cabin in the woods, where it will be filled with songs of our love. No road noise, no pesky neighbors, just you and I and occassional friends and family, only loved ones. From the coziness of the couch to our bedroom, two of our favorite spaces. My heart is always with you, for you are my home, where I long to be, forever you and me.

This journey we are on gets harder everyday. I'm loving you more with every hour that passes. But missing you, grows stronger by the seconds. I'm not sure I could explain having you a phone call away and still the longing to have you beside me, holding my hand, able to hear my whispers.  I imagine it's like the dry earth awaiting the rain. Or the beautiful flowers waiting for the winter to be over and the warmth of the sun to bring forth the bloom. Or like the preteen waiting on the drivers liscense. The anticipation and hunger grows stronger every day. Until the day, you walk in and greet me with a much needed kiss and hug. The day I can hold your hand forever. The day I don't stand on my porch with my hand waving until the next time. The lifetime we have ahead helps me to keep on and enduring the loneliness of the between times. My mind wanders wanting to see the distant dreams of our cabin, together our home. The times of the hard days passed. The days I no longer I have to whisper I love you. The day our hands can be intertwined forever. The day our secret is out. Our love can overflow. The day I wake up next to you and hold you a lot longer than I should. The day our adventure begins to take us to far away places only to return to our home.

If I had one prayer to pray, it would be a thank you to God for every day that I have with you. It would be full of Thanksgiving for our beginning. The day you embraced me and set me free. For everyday we spent together no matter the weather. Your heart and mine, girl, love like this is hard to find. Standing hand in hand forever I know this love will last forever. Praising the Lord forever day, knowing that our love will stay. For this amazing love came only from our God above. For two lonely people to one day under a steeple. We become one, knowing that our lives have only begun. Thanking God for you each day is the only way I'll pray.

It started with a mere longing to know you more. Little did I know what God had in store. The more I longed to see you this love inside me grew. Everyday I wished would never end to have you as my best friend. Until that day you asked could you hug me and broke the chains and set me free.

From the time I had to go away, the words echoed in my mine stay.  I became very sick but I knew I would return so very quick. As I soon learned I had cancer, I pleaded to God and He said you were the answer. I soon had surgery to remove and you gave me strength to prove.

We are more than friends and lovers. Everyday there is so much more to discover. Your everything I've desired and never thought I'd receive, but now I have faith and truly believe. We are one, its amazing how this journey has begun.

As the days grows on, this is where I belong. I finally found a home, there's no more reason to roam. For you are my reason as we pass through every season.  Although trials come our way, we stand firm and pray. Together we stand forever hand in hand.

Last year, two days from now I had the most amazing family, who helped me through the scariest thing I've faced. Cancer stage III in the kidney, I thought for sure it would win and take me away from you. In my mind, I thought how could this be, that love would escape me. But as the days grew near for surgery, you gave me hope a reason, a life full of this amazing love. I'm writing this now two days from an amazing year, cancer free. Though surgery was rough, your love made me whole. A victorious year now in the books. A year where I understood exactly what love is and what it hopes for. Overcame PTSD in the same year, the year that made me. The year, I found love and it found me. Everyday for this year I long to hear your voice that led me, held me, comforted me and continues to everyday. A month ago, the oncologist had given me news that possibly cancer came once again. I denied but had the surgery to prove im cancer free in this past year that made me. The year that you taught me, I could face every fear. The upcoming years can only bring me closer to you. I'm growing, we are growing into what God wants for us. Our home in the next few years. Our lives merging together until we are one. That's what a year has made me. I look forward to everyday appreciating, loving you more day by day.
