I Want To Go Outside
Kylie Oct 2019
Nature is but a walk away when you look into my eyes
Pools of rain, my eyelids are, like clouds, "Do clouds cry?"
My heart is beating through my chest, for a mile, a highway
an ocean
Like that tree so tall and proud, I have my arms wide open
Listen to me call your name like the wind does every Morn'
That soft, feathery shallow voice, I try as might not to be torn
Have you followed me like the gooseflesh sprouting on my arms
so tender, and careful, through the dewy mountain cloth so worn
Gather me darling, sit by my side
Let me see into your golden eyes, I want to go outside

Human Flower
Kylie Oct 2019
We may all be human, but we are also flowers.
We have power to sway in the merest of  winds, and we have power to believe that we can get through anything. We need rain.
We need sun.
We never want snow because snow only makes us colder, and we already live in a frozen world.
We are flowers because we thrive in different colors, all hoping that we will get picked based on our beauty, but dandelions still get picked right?
Dandelions I say, are just flowers who have not yet reached their full potential.
I believe that I am dandelion.
We are all dandelions until we reach our peak point where we get blown away unto something better.
We are wishes, counting wishes by our petals, by our seeds.
We are afraid to go sometimes, but we still do.
There is truth behind sunlight is good for your health, I'll prove it to you the next time you go outside and see that one dying flower standing high above the rest, facing the overwhelming light in the sky....
