Would you really plead, postpone the cases of **** if your daughter, sister, wife or mother was involved ????

Money is important, undoubtedly so but can't we make it in a better way ???

I request everyone please please please do not delay or come in the way of justice. Let not the laws of KARMA punish you.

Its my humble request to awaken your conscience which may be in stupor.

चीख चीख कर रोता है दिल मेरा, पर सुनाई जाती नहीं तुझे पुकार ।
ओ मानव, तु तो बन बैठा है दानव, क्यों करता है मेरा व्यापार ?
मुझे और मेरे बंधुओको उखाड़ फेंकता है जड़- मूल से क्यों ओ नादान?
हमारे बिना, जी न पाएगा तु और न तेरी प्रजाति, ओ पागल इनसान ।
कोसेंगे तुझे खुद, तेरेही बच्चे, जरा समझले और संभल जा तु, ऐ नादान।
हमें काटने से मिलेगा तुझे न प्राणवायु, घुट घुट के दम तोड़ेगा तु।
हमारे बिना होगी न बरसात; बूंद बूंद पानी को तरसेगा तु ।
सहन कर न पाएगा तु गरमी, तड़प तड़प कर बुरा होगा तेरा हाल।

नज़र बूरी

खुशियों ही खुशियों से भरा था हमारा दामन ।
घर में और बाहर, चारों ओर फैला था अमन।
अचानक एक बलाका हुआ, ऐसा आगमन;
कि लग गई नज़र बूरी, अब जल रहा है, हमारा चमन।

आलीशान सा घर था, और प्रेम-पुष्पो से, चमन था भरपुर ।
सदस्य रहते थे देश-  परदेश; कोई पास कोई दुर।
पर जुड़े हुए थे सब दिल से, जानता है तु यह सच, मेरे हुज़ूर ।
हर कोई जीता था एक दूजे के लिए, जिंदगी थी खुष्नूर ।

उस बला ने डाली फूट चमनमे; डाली ऐसी चिंगारी, कि लग गई
आग ।
बचानेके, मां ने, मौसी ने, बुआने, सब ने प्रयत्न किए अथाग;
पर फिर भी हो गए मजबूर, बुझा न सका कोई यह आग ।
नज़र बूरी ऐसी डाली; मुरझाई कली कली, राख होने को है मेरा बाग ।

ऐ भगवान, तु तो है वाकिफ, जानता है तु पूरी दास्तान ।
मिला दे बिछड़े भाई बहनों को, बक्ष दे उन्हें; दे दे आज वरदान।
लौटा दे उन्हें, उनका झूठ से उजाड़ा हुआ सनमान।
बता दें तू आज करिष्मा अपना; वोह भी समझे और जाने, तेरी पहचान ।

THOSE YEARS

During our autumn years, on leaves dry we tread.
It's in times these, to lose our dear ones, we dread.
This anxiety impending, is always on our head;
It worries us more, than planning for our daily bread.

A phone call, on a still, quiet night, very late;
Sends our already weak heart racing, into a bad state.
Worry we tremendously, about the impending fate.
Though know we, for each one of us, fixed is a date.

Vulnerable we become, in this autumn season.
Think our near n dear ones involved will be, in treason.
Worry we, without  facts or any important reason.
Worry we unnecessarily endlessly, whatever be the season.

An Ode to Emperor Kanishka that crashed on 23 June 1985....

So many  innocent lives and a majestic Aircraft was gone

Though life for others, after a while moved on;

But their dear ones miss them even today;

For them, very sad we feel; but all we can do is only pray.

O killers, answer you will have to, the Lord some day;

Go up there when you, to Him what will  you say ?

Remember KARMA LEAVES NO ONE; hence it won't leave you.

That day, indeed very late it will be, for you to rue.

You will have to pay for your cowardly act; when you, to live cease.

May the Lord bless those that left, with eternal progress n  peace.

As ends two thousand n twenty; hope we, end all our ordeals

Here is wishing that this ailing world, now very quickly heals

May  covid goodbye say; and for ever is gone; endorse we can, close deals.

Health, businesses, travel etc are disrupted n fate many things seals.

But now light let us, a flame of Hope n expect things bright.

May the coming year also bring with it peace, prosperity and divine light.

Hope mankind lessons has learnt, not to, with Nature interfere or fight.

Ahura kind, help us  heal; grant us please that divine insight.

Fell in love with you, the moment saw you I.

years after; till today the reason, I don't know why.

To tell you though, I was always very shy.

A rose you bought me never; asked you for it I never.

But this nostalgic relationship, I couldn't ever sever.

Cherish I those things that prevailed,  an Era ago.

Them I hold close to my heart n wouldn't let them go.

Those values I hold will dearly stay, until my dying day.

Wish, things so drastically wouldn't change from yesterday.

Those games both indoor n outdoor with friends we did play.

With our parents joining us, really made us happy and gay.

Those picnics, long walks, trekking we tremendously enjoyed.

Seeing our Aunts, Uncles, cousins, we actually did rejoice.

Building a stage, performing skits, singing, dancing;

Were so much an integral part of our life; gave us new wings.

Today children almost addicted are to TV, computers n mobiles

No libraries, no story sessions; books now just lie in piles.

Sorry I feel for these modern kids; what will they do ?

Rented we bicycles n on picnics we went. Ask them I, what will you do?

Nature beckons you, climb trees, eat fresh fruits, them pluck.

Run with a doggy or after a hen and hear her cluck-cluck.

Plant some seeds, then them water; joy you will experience immense.

Build some nests for birds, offer them grains, in a bush dense.

MAY YOUR GOOD SIDE WIN

Thinks one does not often, of all different aspects;
All one wishes is that his dear ones give him love n respect.

Ahura, tell me please, what does a man with self respect, expect ;
Only that people should him, love n respect.

Expectations many, one must have not, I agree
But sad I feel, when third grade treatment, given is, then I disagree.

Why have money n power overtaken this world ?
Why are poor n unimportant people, hassled n hurled ?

Ashamed people are, of their relatives poor, commercially useless n old.
Them they often neglect, snub, even ill-treatment or scold.

O Ahura, let such things happen not. May man's good side win, and ahreman's not.

ઓ વાહલાઓ,

પ્રેમથી ભરેલી બંદગી, અને ભાવનાભર્યા વંદન અમારા;
ફળ ફુલ, સુખડ લોબાન, સ્વીકારજો તરફથી અમારા.
ભલે પધારો, વડવાઓ અને વહલાઓ મારા,
અમને અંતકરણના આશિષ આપવા  તમારા.

કોમ છે સંકટમાં આજે, એ તમારી જાણબહાર નથી.
ઉપાય કોઈ સારો સુઝડો, અમને ઓ મહારથી.
કોમમાં આપ્રી બંધાઈ ગઈ છે જાત તરેહ ની હાનિકારક ગ્રંથિ.
કરવું શું, ગૂંચવાઈ રહ્યો છે, કોમ નો સીધો સાદો પંથી.

આવો વાહ્લાઓ, કરો અમારો સાચો માર્ગદર્શન.
થાકી ગયા છે હમદીનો, જોઈ ખોટા પ્રદશન.

Blushed she and shyly said, " may I please have a dance with you"
Quizzically he looked, but
alongside, went on the dance floor too.
Wondered she, how did this happen, how did I gather this courage !
Her friend softly murmured, "he has always been your rage" !

Snuggled she into his arms, felt she, his heart beats, as she leaned a bit.
Lost she was, in her own world, her body around him curled; a close fit.
The warmth of his body, so close to her; it was ecstacy sheer.
She glided gracefully, like a mermaid, as he did lead n steer.

A smile crossed her wrinkled face, as she this did remember.
Remembered she the glow n colour on her face; n that heat like ember.
Just that one dance, had changed her world, be it would a lasting memory.
Precious it would be, as if
a jewel made of studded diamonds in gold and ivory.

Relationships, very  often highs and lows see .
if discuss matters we, problems resolved can be.
In times these, of competition, of rat race;
most relationships some problems face .
It's in hands our to amicably matters sort.

पी से मिलन की रात

झगमगाते तारों की जैसे आज निकली हो बारात

आधा चंद्रमा खेल रहा है छुपा छुपी बादलों के साथ ।

बड़ी ही हसीन, बड़ी सुहानी है, आज की यह रात ।

बड़ी मुद्दतके बाद आयी है, यह मिलन की रात ।

ठंडी हवा चल रही है, मेरे नरम गालों को सेहलाते हुए;

मेरे घने काले  जुल्फों को, बादलों की तरह बिखराते हुए ।

पायल की रूम झुम, नैया में संगीत बिखेर रही है;

धड़कते दिलों की  धड़कन का संगीत हवाओं में गूंज रहा है ।

और हौले हौले, छोटी छोटी मौजो के संग खेलती नदी बेह रही है ।

दिल झूम रहा है, शराब बिना शबाब छाया हुआ है।

आंखो में मस्ती भरा खुमार है; नशा छाया हुआ है ।

पी से मिलन होगा आज; नज़ारों में जादू छाया है;

आज मुहसे निकलेंगे न कोई अल्फ़ाज़; बस नशा छाया है ।

सालों के इंतज़ार बाद, आखिर आ ही गई, पी से मिलन की यह रात ।

आए हैं मेरे पीया चांद बनके, लेके तारों की बारात ।

Nature, really wonderful is.
Let us not take it for granted please.
Environment look after we must.
Upon Earth, pollution, please do not ******.

છે તું એક પહાડ, વિશાળ, અડગ અને અચલ.
અંદર થી અડગ, ભલે ઉપર ઝરણાં વહે ખળ ખળ.
મૌસમ આવે અને જાય, પણ તું તો ત્યાં ને ત્યાંજ ઊભો હોય.
કડકડ તિ ઠંડી, મુશળધાર વર્ષા, કે ભલે ગરમી ભયંકર હોય;
ખળ ખળ વહેતા ઝરણાં, અને નદીઓ તારા પગ ધોતાં હોય.
ઉપરથી બેઠો બેઠો, સમ દૃષ્ટિ થી નીચે તું જોય.
આંધી આવે, તોફાન આવે, મોટા ઝાડ, ઉડે તણખલા જેમ.
પણ તું તો ત્યાં ને ત્યાંજ હોય, અડગ જેમ નો તેમ.
વર્ષા તને પલાડે, મોટા ખડગ માટી ની સાથે નીચે પટકાય.
હોશિયાર માણસથી પણ આવા તોફાનમાં ન છટકાય.
પણ તું તો અડગ બની ત્યાંજ હોય, જેમ નો તેમ.
માનવ જેમ તું ધરાવતો નથી અહમ કે વેહમ્
શીખવું જોઈએ અમારે આવી રીતે અડગ અને અચલ બનવા.
હસ્તે મોઢે, અડગ રહી, હિંમતથી દુઃખો નો સામનો કરવા.

Oh my ! Xmas is round the corner; and very many chores are due.


One of the first few is to invoke that gentle, kind Santa in you.

When for our dear ones we a gift buy, some more for orphans, please get.

A beautiful radiant smile it will bring on their face , which is oft tear-wet.

Instead of a tree artificial, this time plant a real one, in a *** big.

Or if a garden you have, please into it, one Xmas tree dig.

When sweets you make or buy, forget not to some for them make.

Even include a chunk big, when a traditional Xmas cake you bake.

Let's something special do for others, along with ours this year.

Invoke the Santa within us, for happiness, it's a must my dear.

Masks; most people actually wear three

One to show this world our false face; be it in sorrow or glee.

Another one for our close associates; some secrets locked with a key;

The original self, a stained soul, yet the ego hasn't been set free.

Carry we many branches, though we are that one big tree.

Lord help us please to set our faces without masks, make-up free.

WHAT'S LESS PAINFUL

Innocently, earnestly she asked me this, a despaired teenager;

What's more painful, a damaged heart or a broken one ???

I had an answer not. We only treated physical problems.

But her question  disturb me did; n sent me thinking...

Indeed, I thought, a broken heart would trouble someone more !!!

Physical heart problems in most cases have some cure;

Medical, surgical or plasties could help them, to an extent.

A broken heart, had no cure, that I could ever think of !!!

So agreed I with her, n said, "our medical team has remedy none."

She rightly said, "patients wish to live, whereas a broken heart wishes to life shun."

This argument, she downright won.

ओ निर्मोही, दोनों थे तेरे चाहनेवाले;
मोती, और हीरा भी।
राधा के साथ रास रचाया और मीरा को बनाया रानी से जोगन,
ऐसा भी क्या जादू किया तूने दोनों संग, ओ मेरे मनमोहन !
तड़प उठे दोनों तेरे प्यार में, पर जानी न तूने उनकी पिड;
कब से बन बैठा तु इतना निष्ठुर; अनदेखी की तूने उनकी पीड ।
तु कैसे जानता उनकी तड़प; भीड़ बहुत थी तेरे आसपास ।
तड़प तो वो दोनो जाने, ओ द्वारकाधीश, जग करें उन पर परिहास ।

अगन- यह आग

ठंडी बारिश की बूंदे; ठंडक न पहुंचाए; जगाए तन में आग

और शीतल चांदनी लगाए तन पे, चन्द्रमा वाला दाग ।

राह देखते देखते कली मुरझा रही है, उदास है सारा बाग

वो ऐसे ही मुरझाई थी, जब होली में आए न थे पिया, बीत गया था फाग

पिया का न कोई संदेश, न ठिकाना; भले का- का करता रहे काग

उसकी खुशियों का गला घोट रहा है नसीब; बन के एक जहरीला नाग ।

थक गए है नैना, राह निहारते, बढ़ती जा रही है अगन, कैसे बुझेगी यह आग ?

I HAVE NO TIME.

I am busy with this work or that; I have no time.
I am an office going person, I have no time.
There is so much work already; for prayers, I have no time.
I have to look after my own children; for parents, I have no time.
Oh I am already overburdened, to help someone, I have no time.

Time we have to chat on WA n FB;
But to pray, I have no time.
To go for an office picnic, is a must; for parents, I have no time.
Week ends are for friends, for teaching kids, I have no time.
I am busy, doing so many things, to pray, I have no time
In short, I am always busy; to pray or do work good, I have no time.

ESTRANGEMENT

Sad to see such a lovely couple, in this state.
See in them we, such a strong dislike, bordering on hate.
May be their wishes n desires they couldn't satiate.

Estranged relationships hurt both the mate(s).
Eye to eye they see cannot; changed has their fate.
I sincerely pray, for their reunion, hoping it's not too late.

Lord, it's all too complicated; why do You such relationships create ?
Why can't there be more understanding, love n faith ?
Why do undesirable souls unite; why do You matters complicate ?

If marriages are made in Heaven, then why this sad state?
Some say, laws of Karma these relationships dictate.
Answers we have none; though some people call it fate.

મીરાં કહે શ્યામ ને....

બસ લાગતો હતો મારો પણ તું હંમેશા થી જ હતો પરાયો

વિચારું છું, તો જિંદગી માં મારી, શા કારણે તું આયો?

એતો હું જ હતી હંમેશા ઘેલી, વગર કારણે તને ચાહ્યો.

હે  કાહના, મે તો સદા તને, મારો  જ પ્રીતમ માન્યો.

ભલે બધાં કહે, મે તને ક્યારે એ પરાયો નથી જાણ્યો.

પણ વાત તો એ જ સાચી છે, મે ક્યાં તને કદી પણ પામ્યો ?

વિચારવું જોઈતું હતું મારે, તું રાધા નો ન થયો તો મારો ક્યાં થી થવાનો

પણ પ્રેમ કરવા પેહલા ક્યાં કોઈ વિચારે છે, કે તું  અલોપ થઇ જવાનો

રાહ જોઈ ને ભલે થાકી જઉં, તું થોડો જ દર્શન આપવા આવવાનો ?

તે તો ગિરિધર, તારી પ્રિયતમા ને,  સદા તરસાવી, તડપાવી;

એ તો તારા વિરહ માં હમેશા આંસુ સારતી જ આવી

રાધા હોય કે હોય મીરાં, તેં તો સદા તારી પ્રિયતમા ને સતાવી.

આવી ને જરા કાનો માં મારા, આમ કરવાનું, તારું કારણ જરા કહી જા.

આમ તરસાવિ તાડપાવી, નિષ્ઠુર થા નહિ, ઓ પ્રીતમ પ્યારા.

थक गए तेरी राह निहारते हुए, यह उदास नैन

अब काटते नहीं कटते जुदाई के, यह दिन रैन ;

याद में तेरी, होने लगे है हम भी अब बेचैन ।

लायक शायद नहीं थे हम, पाने के लिए तेरा प्यार;

कर न सके समझौता, क्यू की प्यार नहीं है व्यापार

सालों के इंतज़ार बाद, अब मानली है हमने हार

भुल गए थे हम की दुनिया चलती है पैसों के जोर से;

मिलती है बेरुखी और धोका अक्सर अपनो की ओर से ।

रुतबा हो, पैसा हो, शान हो तो कुत्ते की तरह पूंछ हिलाती है दुनिया;

यह ही कठोर सच्चाई है, याद रखना तु, मेरी मुनिया ।

કિસ્મત ક્રૂર

બિચારી એ દુઃખી માં, વિચારતી હતી, કોઈની બુરી નજર લાગી ગઈ છે જરૂર.

કે પછી આં એમન ના કિસ્મત માં, મશ્કરી હતી કોઈ ક્રૂર !

એના મીઠાં બલુડાઓ નું હૃદય, રેહતું જે પ્રેમથી ઉર પુર,

કેમ અને શા માટે થઈ ગયા જુદા અને એક બીજાથી દૂર.

શા કાજે થયા એ આમ કરવા, દૂર રેહવાં મજબૂર ?

દુનિયાની નજર બુરી, લાગી ગઈ છે એમને જરૂર.

હતાં એના બાલુડા એની આંખ ના તારા; હતાં એ એના ગુરુર.

હતી એક વેળા, જ્યારે ચર્ચા થતી એમના સંપ અને પ્રેમ ની, દૂરદૂર.

આવી એવી પુત્રવધૂ, કર્યું સત્યાનાશ સંપનું; કર્યા એમને એકબીજાથી જુદા થવા, મજબૂર.

લાચાર બની હું; મારી આંખો સામે થયાં મારા બાલુડા, એક બીજા થી દૂર !

બસ જોતી રહી હું બેઠા બેઠા, કિસ્મતનો આં તમાશો ક્રૂર !

તું  બુદ્ધિમાન , બળવાન, સુર્ય જેવું તારું તેજ; અને હું પામુ તારી પાસે થોડું આત્મબળ

તારા વિના ક્યાં પામી શકું સુખ, ચૈન અથવા શાંતિ; થઈ જાઉં તારા વિણા બેકળ.

OUR NATURE

A lot depends on our nature, our behaviour.
Good nature, at most times, is indeed our saviour.
If rude and harsh we are, people from us will stay far.
If kind n compassionate, shine we, like a star

Smiling faces, flower like are, attracting bees
One always in them, sweetness n  goodness sees.
Ill-mannered people on the other hand, are at a distance kept;
Like offensive dirt and dust , off they are swept.

So let us be like sweet smelling, perfumed flowers;
Who  will, genuinely and lovingly be our followers.
Friends who for us will care and their joys and sorrows share.
Our colleagues , who support us will and added responsibility bear.

Perhaps, it's only saints, who a fair chance stand .

After all You are altogether made up of  totally a different brand;

Almost impossible for a mere mortal like me to understand.

Questions many arise and ever so often in confusion I land.

Searching You is like searching for a pearl in the ocean sand.

हे प्रभू ,
गाऊ मैं ऐसे के झूम उठे दिल; और तृप्त हो जाये हर श्रोता की आत्मा;

आशीष देना मुझे, के मैं  ऐसा ही कुछ  कर पाऊँ; ओ  मेरे परमात्मा ।

दिल से गाऊ, तार से तार मिला पाऊं, प्रसन्नता छा जाये चहू ओर;

सुन के मेरे गीत मधुर, झूम उठे तु, ओ  मेरे  चित्चोर ।

भजन के सुर और तान ऐसे लगे, के तुझ तक ये पहुच पाये;

इन्हें सुन कर, तु खुद मुघ्ध हो कर, मेरी बाहों में दौडा चला आये ।

दिल से निकले, दिल तक पहुंचे, तन मन हो जाये तुझ में लीन

तडपाना न मुझे, बनना नहीं है मुझे,  बिना नीर की, एक बेचैन मीन  

प्रभू, कोशिश करती रहूंगी मैं, भले मै, मीराबाई न बन पाऊ।

पर पकड के रखना मुझे, खो न जाऊँ, और गीर भी  न जाऊँ ।

ગૂંચવણ, સમસ્યા

સદા ની છે આં ગૂંચવણ, આં સમસ્યા.

ઘર મારું કયું, જ્યાં જન્મ થયો ને અમે વસ્યા ?

કે પછી, ગાય ને દોરવી જે ઘરે પરણાવ્યા ત્યાં ?

માં બાપ ના જવા પછી, ઘર થાય ભાઈ ભાભી નું.

સાસુજી કહે,  "તારા ઘરે"
એટલે એ પણ બીજા કોઈ નું.

વિચારે નારી, આખરે હકીકત માં, ઘર એનું કહ્યું  ?

કોઈ તો સુલઝાવે આં કઠિન સમસ્યા . સ્ત્રી ક્યાની  ?

બાગ નો માળી કહે," વૃક્ષ મારું, પણ ફૂલ તો છે પરાયું."

શું સ્ત્રી સદા પરાઈ રહેશે? બન્ને ઘર ની મેહમાન બની રહશે ?

See we today, everyone with their smartphones, in chairs, all curled.
Sick we are all, with mobile-o-mania, all over the world.

This Christmas, let's this illness overcome, let's visit our ones dear.
A personal touch, a hug warm, n a kiss compassionate, will bring us near.

This Christmas, let's go out and an elderly help; let us be a little more kind.
Or become Santa to a little one, bringing laughter n  joy; which he daily doesn't find.

This Christmas, let's warm bodies and hearts of people around us; with our care.
Let us our love and care, with man, beast and bird, selflessly share.

Let us a Little water everyday save
Let us this new system, right away pave
So that  man, beast or birds, for water  don't crave .

Even if it is just a litre everyday
Millions of litres collected can be, this  way
In our own small way, we can thus  Mother Earth repay.

Grow as many trees, we definitely should.
Give us they oxygen, shade, fruits n wood.
Hope now, it's importance is clearly understood.

Love is Eternal

Love is eternal, it never ever dies;

Though sometimes buried deep within, it lies.

For one's lover, it softly, inaudibly, cries;

Often for a little bit of love, one craves n sighs.

As if one has wings; one's thought, towards the lover, flies.

Wonder I, why then, there is one sided love ?

Lord, sad You must be, watching heart breaks from above.

Such couples why don't you make; like the hand fits in a glove.

On this day for lovers; kindly bless our love.

With my love-note, I send a beautiful white dove.

Says it, "O my darling, Love is eternal, it never ever dies".

MY VIVID IMAGINATION

Lemon seeds few I throw, n grow from them should umpteen lemon trees

Similarly Mango, Chiku, guava, drumstick,  orange trees should increase.

May coconut palms plenty flourish, swaying gracefully along with sea breeze.

Date palms, so very many,  should grow, turning into oasis, the dry desert sands.

How very beautiful will our  Earth look, imagine Her I; as if,  like a bride she stands.

No poor, hungry will go, when filled with  veggies n fruits will be our lands.

Happy beyond words I be will, if on every road n highway happen this really  would;

If every man plant trees few could; this Earth like paradise, surely look would

if instructions given can be, our doongerwadis, Baugs, like orchards look would.

O  Ahura,  silly sound to many it could,  but You can, my imagination easily fulfil.

May my vivid imagination come true. May  Amardad  Ameshaspand n Spenta  Armaiti also, this will;

May the rich selflessly look into this, n green become our land; every dale n hill.

PASS ON THE BATON.

Will we really be able to pass on the baton to generation next ?
Or soon, people will write about us,. in a historical text ?

Decide we must very soon, our priorities; having fun or increasing our population !

Indifference, money n power are our priorities; not increasing our population.

Our pathetic state today, is our own creation.
Interested we are in personal progress and recreation.

Culture and Parsipanu forgotten we have, very easily today.
Dilution, dissolution n self- destruction is the call of the day.

Wake up, rise to the occasion; learn to love your religion
Do this, before deep and septic becomes this lesion.

O Revered Ahura,

I know, You have created all creatures; n them we must treat well;
But Ahura, creepy- crawlies I can't stand. With them, I don't wish to dwell.

Useful each n every creature is, but excuse me if I don't, them like.
In fact, quite often, at the sight of these, to shoo them, I strike.

Sometimes, we humans act weird, but hope I, to be excused by You.
One such request weird is, keep them away from my home, I will be very grateful to You.

દીન છે સંકટ મા, વિપદા છે ભારી; સક્રીય છે અહરેમાન

રાહ બતાવ, આંગળી ચીંધી, ઓ પૈગામબર મહાન

કરું અરજ કર જોડી, વધાર  દીન ની આન બાન શાન.

जले मन मेरा, जैसे जले एक छोटासा दिया

ओ पिया, काहे जलाए तु मोरा नन्हासा जिया

धुंडे तुझे पल पल यह मोरे नैन , ओ मेरे पिया ।

बस अब चुप चाप मैंने है आंसू पीना सीख लिया

फिर भी, तेरे बिना अब तक सीखा नहीं है जीना

बता जा आके एक बार, कैसे जियू तेरे बिना

कह दू तुझे, न दिल मेरा मजबूत है, ना ही सीना

मौत के पहले यह बुझता दिया चाहता है (जलना) जीना ।
