Sayeth the Earth,  burning I am in this scorching heat.

Like you,  in a shaded cover,  I cannot retreat.

Hence request you I,  very earnestly,  with kindness,  me treat.

To plant trees, that will help you and me,  I again repeat.

Stop digging me for minerals, oil, diamonds,  coal n peat;

To become prosperous, powerful n wealthy do not me, ill treat

Get up n out this Monsoon, for your own self,  come n Nature meet.

There  are millions starving for them n yourself grow useful trees.

On  the contrary,  you chop them off n their numbers decrease.

Remember you are alive, you get OXYGEN because of my trees.

It  is these trees that hold rainwater,  protect floods n give you breeze.

If comes down the temperature,  glaciers can again freeze.

It's an obligation  n divine duty of yours to trees increase.

It's my sincere heartfelt request,  GROW TREES PLEASE.

Grow gardens huge I would, with many a tree.
Lush green lawns with flower beds many;
Roses, carnations, jasmine n yet some uncanny.

Trees filled with fruits many, mango,Chikoo ,
apple;
so that people could eat them easily in ample.
Birds, bees could there, easily nest;
Men tired, in their shade could avail rest.

Fresh vegetables in plenty, available would be;
Surely, there would be no constraints of lock or key.
No child world over, hungry would ever go;
For many million seeds I would surely sow.

Our beautiful planet blue; would also have some green.
Most importantly , the oxygen filled air, would be clean.
Ahura so pleased with this, would be;
With His choicest blessings, bless He would me.

THE WONDERFUL COUPLE

To get just a glimpse of him, anything she would do;

His work place, was  a divine temple for her  too.

But so sacrificing was her love, she never said, I love you.

Years passed this way, they worked dedicatedly for scores over two;

Though rarely she thought, I wish he would say, " I love you"

Also sometimes about her future she would worry and rue!!

And I, looking at their dedication, thought will they ever say, "I do" ?

Today they are both elderly, bent over, yet to work they continue.

Stuck they have dedicatedly to their proffesion like glue.

To cure thousands, even now they steadfastedly continue;

But they haven't yet said those magical words; n may not so do

All I can do is pray for them, saying,"May God bless you two".

ऐतबार

किस पे करें हम ऐतबार ? तोड़ा है अपनो ने ही उसे बार बार;

था जिन पे पूरा विश्वास, उन्हों ने ही उसे, बनाया एक व्यापार ।

ऐसा क्या हुआ, की अपनों ने ही ठुकराया हमें लगातार ।

सोचता हूं, पैसों के लिए, रिश्तों को मिटा कर कैसे मिलेगा उन्हें करार

किसी को था अपना अहम प्यारा, उन्हें, अहम को रखना था बरकरार ।

कोई तो गुस्से में आकर, तीर चलाकर; कर गया हमपर, शब्दों का वार ।

आंसु और दर्द, इस नाजुक दिल और जिगर को मिलें बार बार, लगातार ।

पर अब तक हमें, क्यू आदत नहीं हुई, इन अश्कों को पीने की बार बार ?

अब तो दर्द से रिश्ता बना लिया है हमने; शायद खुशी तोड़ना चाहे उसे एक बार !

गीत पूरा होते ही, तोड़ दिए हमने अपने हाथों से ही, अपनी सितार के तार

इतना होने पर भी, सीख न सके व्यापार; शायद इसी लिए मिलती हैं हमें जीवनमे हार ।

जीना तो है ही, जब तक है जान, तो यूहीं जी लेंगे, बिना किए किसी पे ऐतबार ।

An appeal to all seers, please act before it's too late,

Harm great and unrepairable caused we have, to Mother Nature

By trying to to prove our importance n increase our stature.

Let's once again grow trees, n try to Her, lovingly n carefully nurture.

Let's start, with each human planting at least a few trees,

Soon there will be shade; n flowers and fruits will increase

Once again blow in will cold breeze, n this scorching heat will decrease.

Water levels improve will; n flora fauna flourish will.

If authorities, industrialists, soldiers, the rich pitch in willingly will.

Nature is kind benevolent, all giving and very fair.

Understanding, volunteering will help us to our mistake repair.

Once again She will Her kindness show, rich dividends we will bear.

Generous n benevolent if you are, it's simply great.

But spoil do not a poor man's future at any rate.

Alms please do not randomly to beggars give;

Of their future n that of our society, do try to conceive.

Lazy, people become when grants and alms are given.

Promote them instead to business small do, n their bread earn.

Educate them in technical proffesions to carry on work.

Proffesions
like carpentry, farming, plumbing many shirk.

Understand n  teach we must dignity of labour n hard work

Giving alms indiscriminately, them towards begging lures.

Give sensibly, to the poor. Think of various choices

Inculcate business-sense of small scale into them.

Sell they can initially balloons, flowers, combs, little things.

Slowly this selling will bring in profit, and give them wings.

It's entirely upto you now; what you wish, sow you will that seed.

Grow thereafter will roses, or thorny shrubs n weeds.

Lazy  beggars destroy society; please do think before you give.

To buy them pins, or combs or little useful things, a plan I have conceived.

It's in hands yours, what to do; lies this responsibility on your shoulders.

Bridges and walls for their construction, both need boulders.

खतरनाक खेल

ओ मेरे मालिक, समझ में न आए तेरा यह खतरनाक खेल

गुंडे बदमाश छड़े चोक मझा लूटे, और निर्दोष जाए जेल !!!

या तो फिर गुंडों की हो जाती है, एक दो दिन में बेल ।

प्रेमी बिछड़ जाते हैं या कभी होता ही नहीं उनका मेल;

कभी रब की बनाई जोड़ीओ के दिल मिलते ही नहीं;

या तो फिर उनके साथ, होता ही नहीं कुछ सही

शादी के बाद मजबुर हो जाते है सोचने के लिए, क्या यही है वही??

तेरी लीला समझ में न आई है, न आएगी कभी; समझने, मै तरस रही ।

माना, हम तेरे हाथो की कतपुटलिया है, पर थक गए नाचते;

बेईमान लोगो, आरामसे सुख सुविधाओं में है राचते;

और बिचारे ईमानदार लोगोंको सताता है संसार, और लोग उन्हें है जांचते

THIS SUMMER... JUST NOW...

1)) The summer is now really really hot.
The Sun is burning our Earth.
Can we please please please reuse water from our RO s and AC s to give water to the thirsty birds, animals and water our plants.
All this takes just a few minutes. Let's bring some mirth.

2)) Please have some plants that give out oxygen at night, in your bedrooms.
ACs are on and the oxygen level drops; plants like snake plant, spider plant etc give out oxygen; doing this is really, our efforts worth.

हरियाली बिना

अब के बरस न कोयल कुकेगी,

न तोते उड़ेंगे, न पंछी, न चिड़िया चेहकेंगी,

अब कभी न बहार आयेगी, न फूल खिलेंगे ।

वोह डालियां, जो फूलों के भार से झुक जाया करती थी, लुप्त हो गई;

अरे पत्ते ही नहीं, तो ठंडी हवा कैसे आयेगी ?

बस, एक बड़ी सी इमारत, बड़ी बड़ी दीवारें दिखेगी ।

जो हरा भरा पेड़ों का परदा था, वहां मानव शक्ले दिखेगी ।

इन पेड़ों के बिना, गिलहरियां अब कैसे और कहां खेलेगी ?

अब न कागा काऊ काऊ करके मेहमानों के आनेकी खबर सुनाएगा ।

ऐसा क्यों होने दिया तूने ओ दाता ?

प्राणवायु की कमी होगी और तापमान बढ़ेगा;

तेरी धरा रो रही है, और मेरा दिल भी है उदास ;

तेरी चुप्पी समझ नहीं आती मुझे, लगाके बैठी थी मै आश ।

अब इन पेड़ों के बिना, यह सब बंदरे भी है बेघर;

कानून अंधा बन जाता है और तु ????

A PAINFUL DIVORCE

When parents divorce, children suffer the most.

Just because of greedy n aspiring people some;
Who ulterior motives had; a very prosperous state was divided, in fact forced to take a divorce.

Imagine the prosperity that would have been, with  integrity n a little tolerance; today we would be saying Jai Bombay presidency or Happy Bombay Presidency Day.

दिल की पुकार

डरती हूं, पत्थर न बन जाए यह मेरा मोम जैसा दिल

तनहाई और दुख सेह कर हालात बन गए हैं जटिल

प्यार बिना, यह तनहाई बना न दे मुझे बेदिल

सुना है, बिना माया और प्यार के, बनते हैं कातिल

जिंदगी में आगे क्या लिखा है, जानता नहीं कोई

पर हर किसीने है, आशाएं और तम्मनाए संजोई

सुरीले सपनों की एक हसीन दुनिया है बोई

जो मिटने को है, यह देख कर, मैं मोती जैसे आंसु रोई !!!

जब अमावसया का अंधेरा छा रहा है चहू ओर ;

चांद को छुपा दे ऐसे काले बादल, छाए है घनघोर

जब आंधी तूफ़ान मचा रहे हैं जोर जोर से शोर

तब क्या करे यह दिया; उसमे कहां इतना जोर ?

उसे न घमंड है न किसी भी बात का है गुरूर ।

क्या तु मदद करेगा; या देखेगा तमाशा बैठ के दूर

क्या अभी भी चुप रहेगा तु; या भेजेगा कोई हुर

पुकारती हूं आपको तहे दिलसे, ऐ मेरे हुजूर

मुस्कुराने जाऊ तो आंसु टपक जाते है;

फिर इन्हें पोंछ कर, मुस्कुरा देती हूं;

अब तक, यह सिलसिला जारी है।

પૂનમ નો ચાંદ ખીલ્યો છે પુર બહાર માં, આજે આકાશ માં.

પણ દેખતો નથી ક્યાંયે, મારો ચાંદ, કાશ એ બી આવે નજર !

ઓ ચાંદ આકાશના, મારા ચાંદ ને આપજે પ્રેમ સંદેશો મારો;

કેહજે, સમજાવજે મારી સ્થિતિ એને, કે ઇન્તેઝાર છે મને તારો.

વક્ત રેહતા આવી જજે, આંખો બંધ થાય એ પહેલાં દર્શન આપજે

રસ્તો ભલે હોય મુશ્કિલ અને કઠણ, પણ તું નીડર થઈ કાપજે.

મારું  પોટલું

તું મારું, મસ્તી થી ભરેલું પોટલું, પ્યારું છે.

દુનિયા માં આખી, સૌથી અનોખું અને ન્યારું છે.

તોફાની બારકસ ભલે હોય; પણ, વાહલું તું, મારું છે.

મારા જીવન માં આવેલું સુખ, વરદાન તારું છે.

તારા  વાણી-વર્તન માં તોફાન, તારી આંખોમાં મસ્તી;

આવે તને બહુ મઝા જ્યારે તારી વાતો માં હું ફસ્તી.

લાવે તું જીવનમાં રંગ; અને ઘરમાં અમારા લાગે વસ્તી.

પોટલાં તારા વગર ઘર લાગે સુનું સુનું; માંગે સૈા, તારી હસતી.

માઁ

આમ તો હતી તું નાજુક, નમણી પણ છાંયડો આપતી વડલાનો

શક્તિ આવી, તું લાવતી હતી ક્યાંથી, પૂછી લેવું હતું મારે તને

પહાડ જેવી શક્તિ આં, તું લાવતી હતી ક્યાંથી ?

એ છતાં, હતી તું કોમળ, એક ગુલાબની કળી જેટલી ;

આવી તો અનેક ખાસિયતો હતી તારી, ગણાવું કેટકેટલી !

માઁ તારા ખોળે માથું મૂકીને સુવાનું સુખ હતું કાંઈક અનોખું

ફિકર, ચિંતા મટી જતી હતી બધી; પળભરમાં લાગી જતું ઝોકું

હવે એ વડ, જાણે કપાઈ ગયો; નથી એ છાંયડો કે ખોળો

પણ માઁ, મારા જીવનમાં છે, અને રહેશે હર પળ તારો ઓળો

निभाया है मैंने

निभाया है मैंने तहे दिलसे रिश्ता हर एक ।

सनमान दिया है हर रिश्तेको; सोच रही है नेक

भले दूसरों ने इतनी निष्ठा दिखाई हो या नहीं;

भले काईओ को व्यापार लगता हो सही;

पर निभाया है मैंने तो तहे दिल से रिश्ता हर एक ।

रिश्तों में व्यापार और गुस्सा करता है दिलको बेकरार;

रिश्तों में अहम और ईर्षा डालती है फुट और दरार

सच्चे दिल से किया हुआ रिश्ता ही रहता है बरकरार ।

My  dearest  Grand old man,  99 on this Roj Behram you would be;

Sad indeed is this drying bough,  without its trunk,  you see!

Love from parents is manure n water, v. well know you;

Oh Dad,  miss you tremendously, specially today, I do

There is nothing more precious than this love n care;

To expect n get this from  siblings, is a chance rare.

In Heaven,  happy with Mom, may you always be.

All of you, do come to  receive, when it's time for me.

Know this I well,  life is complicated;  it's a tough test;
