બહુ માવજત થી, મેં સીંચી પ્રીત ને ;

કોઈ એક અનમોલ ઝાડ ને સીંચે એવી રીતે.

શ્રદ્ધા નું ખાતર, ધીરજ ના જળ થી સીંચી એને;

આંસુ વહાવિયા બેશુમાર એનાપર; પરવાહ ન હતી જેણે.

પણ આવ્યું ન એક બી ફૂલ; સુણી હતી હર ડાળ

બસ પંખેરું બની ફસી એમાં, વીણા કોઈ જાળ .

વેદના સહી અપરંપાર , તો પણ, રહી નિશબ્દ, ચૂપચાપ

હ્રદયના ખૂણે આશા હતી, સમજશે એ આપોઆપ.

મીરાંએ એની આહો ન અને સિસ્કિયો ઢાળી ગીતોમાં.

રાધાએ છુપાવી એને, ગોકુળની સુણી ગલિયોમાં.

નિશબ્દ પ્રીત કર્યા પછી, આમને આમ વર્ષો વીત્યાં

આં પ્રીત માં બધાં પ્રેમીઓ હાર્યા; કોઈ ન જીત્યા.

Guesses I keep making about all of you; but without any reply from your end

Good morning n good night messages hundreds; and many others too, I send

Do my prayers reach you all, do these prayers happy make you or help you ?

Exasperating it is, these one way messages; and frankly speaking frustrating too

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUM, NOW, FAR AWAY FROM ME, IN HEAVEN

I remember gifting  you a soft  baby pink sari, on your birthday in 1978, the first one, after I got married and came to Ahmedabad.  You were everyone's Jer Masi; but I couldn't stop myself from calling you Mummy. From that moment,  you were and will always be,  my dearest darling Jer Mummy.
You meant a world to all 3 of us.  You were the Sun and we, your planets.
Wherever you are, we love you,  and send this divine love to you.  Vispi is perhaps lucky enough to be able to reach you and wish you in person. Though far away, (in fact, don't even know really where!!!) But you are in our hearts.  Miss you very much, I DO, my friend, philosopher and guide,  my angel divine, who fills my heart with her unconditional love. Who took a frightened little girl in her loving arms and kept her there forever.
Love you  Ma n miss you.

TRY

New year resolutions, promises to self and others is indeed a very good thing ;

But if difficult this is n succeed we don't in our endeavour, just a smile to someone bring

Lord kind, encourage me to constantly better become;  let me consistently try

Human it is to err; but try let me to always improve; cry I may, but my tears I must dry

Learn I must to live by the day, rather by the moment; and for future no plans make

Promise myself I  must only for the day; any plans, resolutions somehow seem to be at stake

Instead of a new year resolution, let me just this day plan; for tomorrow I may not see !

Plan I do, to a seed plant; someone,  some day can eat the fruit from that tree

Help me please, Dear Lord, to live a day, at a time; that way, worry I will not about tomorrow

One thing certain seems, years or even many days from You, I wish not to borrow

Strength I have not, to walk a mile or go out n someone's tears wipe, in a grand style;

So my resolution is just for this day, no piles; just help me to make someone smile.

Deep down somewhere, I certainly know you exist ;

But asking You question this, I cannot today resist.

That's why Your answer I want; n to get Your reply, I insist.

When You made this world, did You wish happiness n peace ?

Or did You wish Your children to be in pain, anxiety n live in pieces ?

When will peace envelope the world n evil be destroyed or cease ?

How long and why should these difficulties n tensions last ?

Why can't You, this wicked Ahremaan destroy or outcaste ?

Good people, about their future are fearful, anxious n aghast !

A mother is a mother, just cannot be compared to any other.

Of course, you can rely on your father; but a mother is a mother.

An angel for her child, protecting it in a stormy weather.

Even if weak n docile, courage tremendous she will gather;

if endangered are her kids; anyone, she would try to smother.

Most lovingly, carefully, she, her child moulds painstakingly

sacrificing her own priorities and pleasures most willingly.

She even goes through pain n suffering, smiling endearingly;

teaching them the true values of life firmly with care; lovingly.

Accepts she, her child even if ugly, giving love unconditionally.

નૈસર્ગિક પ્રેમ.

એક નાનકડા ગામે એક કુટુંબ ફરવા ગયું હતું. સ્વર્ગ જેટલું સુંદર એ ગામ હતું. ત્યાં એક સુંદર કોટેજ માં એ લોક રેહવાના હતા, ગરમીઓ ની છૂટીઓમાં.
નાનકડા ભાઈ ફ્રેહાન અને બેન ઝોઈશએ પોતાના નાનકડા બેગ ગોઠવિયા હતા. યાદ કરી એમના રમકડાં, bat ball બધું મૂકી દીધું હતું.
ગામ આવ્યું એટલે છોકરાઓ ખુશી ખુશી રમવા દોડિયા. ત્યાંના પગી ના બાળકો બી હતાં એટલે એમને મઝા પડી.
ત્યાં ના માળી એ એમને બગીચામાં થતાં ફૂલ અને વૃક્ષો બતાવ્યા. આં જોઈ બંને કહે અમને બી ફૂલ અને વૃક્ષ વાવવાં છે. માળીએ ધીરજથી છોકરાંઓ ને આં સિખાડ્યું. ફ્રેહાને મોગરા ના ફૂલો નો છોડ વાવીઓ.
ઝોઇશને મોટું ઝાડ વાવવું હતું. એ કહે, " દાદા મને તો આંબો વાવવો છે,  ફ્રેહાનને કેરીઓ બહુ ભાવે છે".
માળી દાદા હસીને ને બોલિયા, " ઉતાવળે આંબા ન પાકે", કેરી તો વર્ષો પછી આવશે". તો ઝોઇશ કહે, "હું આં વૃક્ષને પાછી કલકત્તા લઈ જઈશ". આં વાતો ચાલતી હતી ત્યાં એમની મમ્મી શેઝરીન બહાર આવી. એ કહે, " ઝૉઈશ, તું બે ત્રણ વૃક્ષો રોપ, આપણે થોડા સમય પછી ફરી અહીં આવીશું ત્યારે તું આં જોઈ શકીશ, અને એક છોડ કલકત્તા લઈ જઈશું" આમ છોકરાઓ એ ઘણાં બધાં છોડ વાવ્યા, માટી વાળા હાથ લઈ ધમાલ મસ્તી કરી.
એક દિવસ છોકરાઓ , કૉટેજ ની બાજુ જે નદી હતી, એના કિનારે પિકનિક કરતા હતા. ત્યાં અચાનક એક અતિ સુંદર પંખી, ફડફડી ને તૂટી પડ્યું. બધાં ત્યાં ભાગિયાં. જોયું તો એક સુંદર kingfisher, બિચારું વીંધાઈ ને તડપ્તું હતું. માળી એ તરત એને ખોળા મા લઇ તીર કાઢી નાખયું, નદી ના જળ થી એનો ઘાવ સાફ કરિયો. આં જોઈ, છોકરાઓ કહે, આપણે એને ઘર લઈ જયિએ, એટલે પિકનિક અધૂરો રાખી એ લોક ઘરે આવી ગયાં.

Kingfisher, ધીરે ધીરે સારું થયું. હવે છોકરાંઓ નું એ દોસ્ત બની ગયું. માછી પાસે રોજ માછલી ખરીદી એને ખવડાવે. થોડા દિવસો માં એ સંપૂર્ણ રીતે સ્વસ્થ થતાં એ ઉડી ગયું. છોકરાઓ તો જોર જોર થી રડવા લાગ્યા. બહુ દુઃખી થઈ ગયા, એ કેમ આપણને છોડી ચાલી ગયું!
હજી તો મમ્મી સમજાવતી હતી તેટલાં kingfisher પાછું આવ્યુ. આં જોઈ છોકરાંઓ તો તાળી પાડી, નાચવા લાગ્યા. રાજી ના રેડ થઈ ગયા. હવે કિંગફિશર પોતે શિકાર કરે ને સાંજ પડે ત્યારે એમની પાસે આવી જાય.
હવે ફરી નદી કિનારે છોકરાઓ પિકનિક કરવા ગયાં તો એમની નવાઈ વચ્ચે, kingfisher એમને માટે,  માછલી પકડી લાવ્યું. એમને તો બહુ મઝા પડી ગઈ. આવી ગમ્મત એમને કલકત્તા માં ક્યારે આવી ન હતી.

એક દિવસ એલોક વોક પરથી ફરતાં હતાં ત્યારે એમને એક doggie જોઈ, તો જે બિસ્કીટ એ ખાતાં હતાં, એ એને આપી, હવે એ ડોગી ના કુરકુરિયાં હતાં એ નાની ફૌજ પાછળ પડી. ઘરનાં મોટા બધાં ઉપર હતા એટલાંમાં છોકરાઓ એ તો જે ખાવાનુ ટેબલ પર જોયું એ બધું ખવડાવી દીધું. એમની ફૌજ તો પુછડી પટપટાવી બહાર બેસી ગઈ. થોડી વારમાં ઘરનાં બધાં જમવા આવ્યા. જોય તો બધું સફાચટ. છોકરાઓ એ ફૌજ બતાવી કહ્યું અમે એમને બધું ખવડાવી દીધું, બિચારા ભૂખ્યાં હતાં. મારે જમવાનું ફરી એક વખત બનાવવું પડશે ! કહી, મમ્મી બિચારી રસોડામાં ગઈ.
હવે આં ફૌજ તો અહીં રહી પડી. માળી દાદા એ બધાને નવડાવી ધોવડવી ચોખ્ખા ચટ કર્યા. ફ્રેહાન ઝોઈશ ને તો મઝા પડી ગઈ.

હવે વેકેશન પત્વા આવ્યું, કલકત્તા જવાનું હતું. છોકરાઓ તો કહે, અમે આં બધાને લઈ ને જ જઈશું. બહુ રડારોળ થઈ. બહુ સમજાવવા પછી એક એક છોડ અને કિંગફિશર લઈ જવાની મંજૂરી મળી. પણ કિંગફિશર ને નદી કિનારે કેમ મોકલીશું ? એ તો ખોવાઈ જશે ભીડમાં. મમ્મી એ સમજાવ્ય
, એમને બી એમનું ઘર વાહલું હોય, છો એ અહીં રેહતું. ઉદાસી વચ્ચે એ લોકો કાર માં ગોઠવાયા.
કાર થોડી આગળ ગઈ તો જોયું બધાં એમની પાછળ દૌદે છે. હવે શું કરવું ??? આખરે મમ્મી ને ઝૂકવું પડ્યું. કિંગફિશર અને આખી ફૌજ કાર માં ગોઠવાઈ ગઈ, બધાં કલકત્તા માટે રવાના થયા. છોકરાંઓ ની ખુશી નો તો પાર નહિ. મમ્મી ને વળગી ઠેંક્યું બોલતા ગયા આખે રસ્તે.
એક વેકેશન માં જ બહુ શીખવાનું મળ્યું એમને બધાને. હવે એમને કુદરત બહુ વાહલી લાગે છે. હવે મૌલ માં નથી જવા માંગતા, એમની ગેંગ ની સાથે નદી કિનારે જાય છે. એ બંને કુદરત ના ચાહકો બની ગયા છે.
તો ચાલો આપણે બી આપણા બાળકો ને મોબાઇલ નો ચસ્કો છોડાવી કુદરત તરફ વાળીએ.

In a flower *** small, please do grow small plants on your balcony or room...

It will be wonderful watching it grow, try it, it will give you immense pleasure and satisfaction.

It will help oxygen levels increase in the atmosphere.

If planted in the ground, it will help the water conservation in the land.

Pleeeeeease use water from your RO and AC plants, to water them.

Place small pots of water for birds, wherever you can.

May Ahura  bless us with health, peace and prosperity.

દિવાળીની સફાઈ શરૂ કરીએ ચાલો
કરીએ સફાઈ અંદરની, ઘર હોય કે માળો.
સૌથી પહેલા દૂર કરીએ કચરો અંદરનો ,  અને અંતરનો કાળો સાયો.

સૌ પ્રથમ કરીએ દુર, લોભ, મોહ, મયા, ક્રોધ, મતલબ, અહમ, અભિમાન.
પોતાના માં રહેલી બુરાઈ, અંતર આત્મા પર પડેલા ડાઘથી રહીએ નહિ અનજાન.

પ્રગટાવીએ જ્યોત જે ઝળહળી ઉઠે; અને ઝગમગે આપણું અંતકરણ
જેથી ભવ્ય અને શુભ થાય આં દિપાવલી; અને દીપક સાથે આપણા તન મન.

A few precious moments to meditate, pl. do spend

A helping hand to a needy or troubled, sometimes lend.

Required we are to do this at all times, at every bend.

Our mistakes try to accept we must;  n them amend

Try not to ever hurt anyone; man or beast, do not offend.

Instead, good wishes n vibrations to every creature send.

ACCEPTANCE

Almost impossible it is to accept things against our wish.

In fact, difficult it is to even gulp down an undesirable dish !

It's almost like forcing a vegetarian to eat some stinky fish.

But life does force it's decisions on us, whether we like it or not.

Wisdom prevails in accepting them, instead of into a web, getting caught.

The earlier one accepts it, lesser battles need to be fought.

Nature, Karma, some decisions worldly, force the change, upon us.

This unwanted, undesirable forced change is like a curse;

Difficult it is; but acceptance is better than  resistance n fuss.

SO SUCCUMB N ACCEPT

Earlier I had appealed to everyone, instead of giving flowers, give a flower *** with a sappling, a bamboo or money plant.

Teach school children to sow fenugreek methi or corriander dhanya, they will learn a lot from this.

Just imagine every city's road with five rows of trees.. one in the centre n two on both sides of the foot paths.
Politicians, industrialists, military big bosses should all take up this MOST IMPORTANT ISSUE.

School n college kids, scouts, girl guides, NCC students should all take up this mission on war footing

What do you call these
....???
People who officially rob you of your hard earned money. Income tax is first deducted and there after a salary is given to the ordinary working class.
Thereafter, logically the money is yours to spend and save;
but oh  no.... The poor middle class family pays tax.. GST... for every little thing purchased, be they essentials or a small meal at a restaurant.

They stinge and save small amounts to make a FD, even that is taxed. This means the Government is like a leech. The poor man cannot enjoy anything.

The rich MPs and MLAs loot the public and enjoy very many perks. These parasites actually thrive on us. Besides this they have huge assets, land, jewelry, money , what not to last their future generations.

Nothing concrete happens. Roads are bad, water isn't sufficient nor pure. Petrol prices and essential commodities are always on the rise.

Medical care is pathetic. Education in municipal schools is name sake, children often learn foul language.

Where are we going???
Where is the progress???
This is not the Bharat of my dreams.

Wake up, shake up. RISE N SHINE.

एक कवि या कवियत्री की कल्पना का साकार विवरण, लिखित रूप, है कविता

uकभी दर्द स्याही में ढाल देता है कवि, वो दर्द जो उसके दिल पर है बिता;

या तो करता है वर्णन की, वो किसिपे दिल है हारा, या किसीका दिल उसने है जीता !

मधुर वर्णन हो किसीका, या दुखभरी हो दास्तान कविके दिल की; होती है कविता में संवेदना

कहते है कलम में बहुत है ताकत, पन्ने पे स्याही बोल उठती हैं, उनमे छिपी हुई वेदना

कवि का कटाक्ष, उसकी कलम हमे सिखाती है औरोके मन को, किस तरह से भेदना

धन्य है वो कवि जो बता सके सच्ची नेक राह पर कैसे चलना; या फिर मन के भीतर झाँकना

वो सीखा देता है इतने सारे घोडोको, बिना कोई लगाम, नियंत्रण में रखते हुए कैसे हांकना

कवि तो जानता ही है बिना घूंघट उठाये, मुखडेको, नजरोसे, शब्द बाणोंसे कैसे ताकना

सही कहा है किसीने जहाँ पहुचता नहीं रवि, वहाँ, मानव-मन के भीतर, पहोचता है कवि।

OUR ROOTS

Anglicizing, modernizing and fashions have cost us a lot.

Moving away from our roots; with our own traditions we have fought.

Earlier, compelled we were, to our language n dress change;

But these days, it's our own doing, for reasons silly and strange.

Following fashions blindly, n aping the West, we call it the in thing, or construction.

By adopting foreign customs, marrying out; indulging we are, in self-destruction.

To amenities collect, to indulge in luxury, has become our passion.

Wearing skimpy outfits, torn jeans, no Sudreh-Kusti is supposed to be fashion.

Moving away from dughlis to suits; from saris to pants is our achievement.

I sadly think, this blind - race is actually a reason for bereavement.

Let's all rise to the occasion, and from perishing, save our clan.

Selfishness quit, study well; to become entrepreneurs is not a ban.

Many other Tata, Bhabha, Palkhiwala, Maneckshaw we need.

Basking in past glory, our ego we cannot afford to feed.

Duty divine and moral it is ours, to save this religion great.

Come together let us all, and for the better, change it's fate.

A corpus let us create, by giving whatever we can, amounts big or small.

To support children three; be it Godrej, Tata, Poonawala, please forward come all.

THOSE WERE THE DAYS !!!

Oh, those were the days, when I endlessly laughed n giggled;

Into my Mom n Dad's loving arms, I often cushily snuggled.

With brothers, I played, fought n laughed out loud

Was all this really here or was it on some heavenly cloud??

Danced all night on New year's Eve we, without getting tired

Also with our mischief n noise sometimes our neighbours we ired.

After working all night, to visit my people, I remember catching a train.

And in the same way, going for picnics, myself I couldn't refrain.

After my holiday, keeping awake all night, I took a flight to work

Because both very important were and neither, I could shirk.

It was wonderful not to feel tired with energy bubbling n endless

Sadly, drained out has that energy; now there are aches, pains n tiredness.

WHERE HAVE GONE THOSE DAYS ?????

ONLY IF I

Only if I, a huge estate did own, many a varied seed I would have most definitely sown.

Veggies many, n fruits like mangoes, chickoos, gauvas, cherries luscious, I would definitely have grown

Drum sticks, lemon trees, aavla trees too; n flowers many, my  garden plants would surely adorn

Know l, a gardener's expense, very easily with these farm produce, could have been borne;

Without fail, grow I would peppermint, spearmint, lemon grass n of course lots of crunchy lettuce

I would, a cent percent, every inch of Mother Earth that belong would to me, put fully to  use.  

It is sad, very sad that millions of people, this beautiful Earth, so grossly, shabbily, ruthlessly abuse.

Just in case limited was the space, grow I would a garden vertical. Try, you guys too should; all together, please let us.

7-70

People at 7 n 70 are totally, altogether, a different breed !

At 7 an engine is brand new, young and very energetic indeed

Ah ! At 7, the tiniest print one can very easily read

And at 70, one can see a word only if it is as big as a bead

At 7, no matter how much one runs n plays, active is the steed

At 70 however most bones ache; more on medicines, one does feed

At 7 and at 70, one just cannot compete with the others speed

At 7 one is a  rose bud, at 70 one is a withering flower, almost a **** !

So, importance one has to give to ones age, to this, please do heed.

Many times, very patiently things to do, I have tried.

When failed, often, in frustration I have cried;

Sometimes tears swell n are by no one dried ;

Tragic it is to see lush green huge trees chopped n for wood dried.

Tried I have to grow trees; promoted thru' thoughts, words n deed.

People chop off huge beautiful trees just because of greed.

Tried I have often to plant trees; both branches n seeds.

Those beautiful trees I can't forget; for them, my heart  bleeds.

How much patience should I have? Can someone please tell ?

It is because of these luxuriant trees, we dwell ;

Just for some wood, they are chopped n felled

DO WE KNOW; We are, FOR OUR OWNSELVES CREATING A HELL.

जब होते हैं चर्चे प्यार पर,
नाम एक ही आता है लब  पर ।

प्रीतम मेरे, यहां तो, शमा खुद मरती है, अपने परवाने पर ।

तस्वीर तेरी बसा लि है हमने, दिल में, जिगर में ।

अब तो आंखे जागते भी, देखती है तेरे ही सपने दिन में ।

दुख तो है इस बात का, दिखता नहीं है मुझे प्यार इनमें ।

Oh how I miss those days, so beautiful,  so  memorable !

Everyone so  closely knit was,  loving,  caring,  adorable

Everything n everyone, all  relationships were so  informal.

Life now is so formal, almost painful, just about tolerable

People today are more independent,  monetarily stable.

To live in luxury and style, with facilities many, they are able.

Without their own dear ones they are actually more comfortable.

Sadly, these days, family values are fading off, almost saleable

Lord,  give us  back those wonderful days, so beautiful  and memorable.

QUIT INDIA

Quit India was a strong, nation wide, very huge, n massive protest;

Closely knit, united was our entire Nation, at its very best

Because of our unity, with flying colours, we passed this test;

But the Brits digest couldn't this, so divided us they by making us fight

They at us, threw a bone called religion; licked this we, fighting for every bite

Foolishly fell into their trap we did, every dog, trying to hold that English bone tight

Unfortunately so very blind we became with rage, that our common sense use we did not

Quit India they did, but destroyed they our peace; that bone, a problem permanent brought.

Fighting for that bone, which is, in our throat stuck; we in the spider's web are caught.

Reawaken if we using our sense common, perhaps this Motherland will, a super power again become

Self-restraint, discipline, love and understanding we need to use some

O my fellow Indians, come lets get together once again , please together come.

A SPLENDID ETHEREAL SCENE

Into ecstacy went I, as I drew the curtains translucent, off a huge, transparent window like wall

It seemed, for a while, suddenly entered paradise I had, upon some mystical divine call

A shimmering white sea with chunks of ice was right there,  wherever my eyesight, did fall

This seemed ethereal, out of this world; where this red-orange, shining Sun, looked like a huge fire ball

Even now, as I lightly, gently shut my eyes, appears this majestic scene, and it, me absolutely enthrals !

Feel I, as if Ahura had rejuvenated me anew, n He, fresh, brand-new batteries within me, did install.

શબ્દ

એક વખત, જ્યાં છલકાતો હતો શબ્દોનો મહા સાગર;

ત્યાં સુકાઈ રહી છે સરિતા, જાણે ખાલી લાગે છે, આજ ગાગર.

આમ કેમ થઈ ગયું, વિચારે છે બિચારી મધુમિતા !

અચાનક, ન જાણે કેમ, શબ્દોની સુકાઈ ચાલી છે સરિતા;

ન જાણે કેમ, પણ લાગે છે, લાગી ગઈ છે કોઈક ની નજર

આમ, અચાનક કેમ ઘટી રહી છે કવિતા ની મીઠી અસર !

જડતા નથી શબ્દ મને, જે હૃદય ઢાળવા માંગે છે;

ચિત્રકાર ની પીંછી, આજે બેરંગ આમ કેમ લાગે છે ?

શબ્દો ની માનવ હૃદય પર પડતી હોય છે, ગહેરી, ઊંડી અસર.

અરે વાંચક શબ્દ તો છે બેશુમાર, શબ્દોની ક્યાં છે કોઈ કસર ;

પણ માં શારદા સરસ્વતી, આજે કેમ શબ્દો મને સુજતા નથી;

એકાએક ધીમી પડી ગઈ છે મારી અનમોલ કલમની ગતી.

લાગે છે મને આજે કાવ્યમાં આં, કાઈક કમી , જાણે છે એ નીરસ;

જે સાચે જ લાગવું જોઇએ મજેદાર અને સરસ.

આવો માં, પધારો તમે, પકડી હાથ મારો, લખાવોં ને ;

કાગળ કલમ પ્રસાદી જે તમારી, મારા મન ના દ્વાર, ખોલો ને!

"OPEN YOUR EYES, and immediately look all around;

Look at the barren deforested land and the parched ground.

Save yourself n your dear children "; she angrily frowned.

"Temperatures are mounting, rains are scanty n sea levels are on the rise.

Many Islands are likely to sink from melting glaciers;
Open your **** eyes".

I too say, she is absolutely correct, do not ignore, listen to her cries.

Instead of chopping off trees,  them grow. Every  religion so says.

With harmful ultraviolet rays; warmer each year are becoming the Sun's rays.

With carbon dioxide rising n oxygen decreasing, for your kids, horrible will be the coming days.

SAYETH THE EARTH

Sayeth the Earth,  burning I am in this scorching heat.

Like you,  in a shaded cover,  I cannot retreat.

Hence request you I,  very earnestly,  with kindness,  me treat.

To plant trees, that will help you and me,  I again repeat.

Stop digging me for minerals, oil, diamonds,  coal n peat;

To become prosperous, powerful n wealthy do not me, ill treat

Get up n out this Monsoon, for your own self,  come n Nature meet.

There  are millions starving for them n yourself grow useful trees.

On  the contrary,  you chop them off n their numbers decrease.

Remember you are alive, you get OXYGEN because of my trees.

It  is these trees that hold rainwater,  protect floods n give you breeze.

If comes down the temperature,  glaciers can again freeze.

It's an obligation  n divine duty of yours to trees increase.

It's my sincere heartfelt request,  GROW TREES PLEASE.

IT'S MAHARASHTRA/GUJARAT DAY TODAY

Bombay Presidency was divided by the then politicians, those so called experienced n wise;

It would have been a huge big united and prosperous   state, otherwise.

This togetherness would have brought about a feeling of unity, prosperity, oneness.

I think, may be then, the rate of farmers, committing suicide would perhaps be a little less.

Divisions further divides people; they create not just physical separation, they create separation in the hearts n minds too.

A divided India, weaker will become; with language, caste, religion and many other such barriers; remember please, states will further divide me, from you.

ઓ અહુરા માનું છું હું, તારો  તહેદિલ થી ઉપકાર

ઓ દયાળુ બાપ મારા , તારો ખૂબ ખૂબ આભાર.

તારી કૃપા માં , દયા માં, જો થાત થોડી બી વાર;

તો બદલાઈ જતે સંજોગ; ઓપરેશનના જ હતાં આસાર.

આં દુઃખ ઓછું કરવા, માનું છું તારો ખૂબ ખૂબ આભાર.

ગેબી તારી મદદ માટે માનું તારો ખરાં દિલ થી ઉપકાર.

વિનંતી મારી સાંભળી તેં, અને રચ્યો મોજેજો ફરી એક વાર

આભાર માનવા શબ્દ નથી, વાક્યો લેતા નથી આકાર

DIWALI

Kind  Lord, this Diwali, dispel may You, all the darkness.
May go away, all small or big dreaded sickness.
And diminish may, all our physical, mental n emotional weakness.

Also vow I, Chinese products, I will try n ban.
Earthen Diyas use as many as I possibly can.
Ban crackers I will;  pollution they create; harming beast n man.

Umpteen delicacies made will be, some in Syrup, some dry.
Sweets n salty savories, to share with the needy, I will try.
This a smile can bring on their faces, n prevent their hungry-cry.

Distribute I will pencils n books, to education spread.
It is as important as distributing bread.
To think of an uneducated India, I actually dread.

મુજ અંતર મન માં, પ્રેમ ની ઝળહળતી જ્યોત જગાડ જે.

પ્રેમ દીપક સદા ઝળહળે, એવી જ્યોત પ્રગટાવ જે.

તન મન હ્રદય માં મારા, શુદ્ધ લાગણીઓ પ્રગટાવ જે.

હર જીવનું ભલું થાઓ, એવાં કર્મ મુજ હાથે કરાવજે.

અસીમ પ્રેમ ની ધારા મુજ હૃદય થી વેહતી લેહરવજે.

પ્રેમ જ્યોત ફિકી પડે ન કદી, એવી અખંડ જ્યોતિ ચહું કોર પથ્રાવ જે

જ્યારે જ્યારે પડે જરૂર તારી, દૌડતો દોડતો તુરંત આવજે.

ख्वाहिशें

ख्वाहिशें मरती नहीं, न तो भुलाई जाती है ;

यह तो बस यादे बन के, हमें अक्सर सताती है ;

कभी कभी तो यह, हमें बहुत रुलाती भी है ।

खाहिशे मेरी, थी बहुत छोटी, फिर भी न मिली,

तब किसी ने कहा," प्रीत प्रेम है दोनों ही किम्मती ;

ये आसानी से मिलते नहीं, गलतफहमी है यह तेरी "

"आज के दौर में सच्ची प्रीत, सच्चा प्यार मिलता नही ।

वफा, दोस्ती, ईमानदारी की करना नहीं तु अपेक्षा"

तब लगा, यह "लोन" के ज़माने में गाडियां, घर मिल भी जाए;

पर मुफ्त में भगवान ने जो दी है भावनाए, वोह आजकल मिलती नहीं ।

मैंने पूछा, "तो क्या इंसान ख्वाहिशें रखनी छोड़ दें ?"

तब कहा उन्होंने, "बालक दिमाग से काम लो, दिलवालों की दुनिया अब रही नहीं"

ख्वाहिशें मेरी, मेरे मन में ही रह गई, जमाना जीत गया, मै हार गई ।

A little bit of awareness, a wee bit of extra care;

Help me, join me, with me this willingly share.

Electricity has many advantages; count we here cannot.

But it creates heat n pollution, which increase should not.

Summer is here n cannot do without A/Cs and fans we, today.

But to use them judiciously, carefully there is a way.

Switching them off immediately is a way simple n great.

Until we return,  to keep them on we shouldn't wait.

Electronic devices produce extra heat, which we try must to reduce.

So help Nature, let us, and many jobs simultaneously fuse.

with the A/C water; grow n water plants; this cool will our Earth

Waste water from RO plants, drink can animals n birds, or use it at the hearth.

With a plate of this water, ice make n under the fan keep.

It will help cooling the room, recycling done can be; just flip

Reusing water, switching off lights, cars, can help to reduce heat

New little innovative ideas introduce, share; n this heat defeat.

JOIN ME in my endeavour important, with a beginning small.
