WOMEN'S DAY

Everyone,  including me, is about this talking n discussing, it's all over in media n print

Discussing n women praising; how liberated ! n how much money, she does mint

But sadly,  even today,  many of them live a life, in utter poverty, a fact bitter it is

My maids n their kids, I try to teach; teach them to read n write; but they are really not at ease

Savings, I compel them to make; in a piggy bank; a small amount they have to mandatorily keep

Into details, many other, like anaemia,  sanitation, etc. I would like you to take a peep

A lot more needs to be done; celebrations we educated, perhaps afford, can;

But in reality,  in life actual, should we celebrate this day? Please put yourself there; just be that woman !

Spew venom please do not; after all, you are not a snake;

Treat everyone alike, for your  creator's, for your God's sake .

He has made us all; men, beasts, worms and birds

We are all children His; Hindu, Jew, Christian, Muslim, Parsi, Kurds.

Learn we must, compassion; to live and let others live;

This is what each human has to practise. But we must this, first conceive.

Why have we become so callous, so very indifferent??? Why have we stopped feeling another's pain, his woes???

If we can't share, let us at least put our hand on his shoulder and give him a smile. Say a tiny prayer. Can't we???

Have all our feelings died???
BRING OUT THE HUMAN BEING YOU WERE MADE TO BE.

LEGENDS

As we to our legends say goodbye; prepare ourselves we must for new ones; many more

Constantly performing better,  endeavouring consistently, we must increase our score;

We need new legends, like Nani,  Soli,  Keki,  Fali, who regally inspire awe and roar.

Doctors great like  Dasturs, Udwadias, Motashaws, Soonawalas n more; who bring back patients from death's door

Best we were n best we shall be; doctors, lawyers, scientists, engineers, armed forces n more;

O brilliant lads n ladies young, you have to excel, you need to quickly come to the fore

Wishing our young population increases and excel they, in their careers, producing legends more.

WISHING ALL OF YOU ALL THE VERY BEST.

This mind, bitter n sceptical has become, today it's a negative dustbin !

Such a happy go lucky person I was; always smiling, always happy with my kith n kin

Experiences have a bitter truth now revealed; I wonder why people are so selfish, indifferent n mean !

Anyway, help me, O my Mazda, to look within n peace derive, in this endeavour, your "Anar" needs to win.
