How do you climb,
After falling so deep?

Is it just time,
Or consequences we reap?

How do you love,
After feeling utter loss?

Do we look above,
Or do we become cross?

Love be driven,
Love be true.

Love be given,
Not taken from you.

Love be bliss,
Love be empathetic.

Love be that kiss,
Don't make me feel pathetic.

Love be dreams,
Love be real,

Love with tight seams,
Enlay my heart.. Love's very seal.

Getting older day by day.

First it seemed slower,
Life started in May.

I rushed through school.

Wanting to be older,
Wanting to be cool.

I made bad choices.

Looking back now I know,
Remembering loved ones  voices.

Remembering their words.

Forever in my dreams,
Flying free like birds.

I cannot change my past.

The wrongs,
In stone cast.

I rememer today.

To make them proud,
That I can't hold myself to yesterday.

I feel something for her.
A feeling so new.

A feeling,
Igniting,
Relighting the fire in my heart.

Engulfing,
Leaving no piece untouched.

I feel something for her.

This feeling so true.

A feeling,
Inspiring,
Knowing it can be possible.

Healing,
Taking away the black and blue.

I feel something for her.
A feeling that always grew.

A feeling,
Of loving you.
One of my older poems I stumbled across

I want love,

Not lust or greed.

I want love,

Want it.. no...need.

A love with spirit,
A blessing of soul.

One day I fear it,
Never reaching this goal.

I want love so wonderful and pure,

I want love so passionate and true,

Like Beast's true love's kiss cure.

Maybe, that could be me and you.

Man with a troubled soul,
Heart worn proudly on his sleeve.

Heartache takes its toll,
Men aren't supposed to grieve.

Man riddled with disgust,
In a world with no trust.

Love...true an utter dust,
Wiped clean and replaced with lust.

Man not always as keen.

Trusting and belief in vein.

Living truth to what has been seen.

Hiding a lifetime of pain.
